We all go through times in our life when luck doesn't appear to be on our side. We're left with a sense of being crushed by existence itself. There have been times when unforeseen events, often beyond our control, have pushed us to our breaking point. When we are confronted with adversity, our willpower typically begins to wane.

We are so exhausted and depleted of energy that our outlook on the future appears dismal and hopeless. It's difficult to find a cause to keep going after we've arrived at this stage. But fortunately, there are methods to fight back and reclaim your inner strength.

When you're at your lowest, when you can't think of anything positive and life seems useless, you should remember and be grateful for what you have.

Anything may be on your appreciation list. In fact, when times are tough and I can't think of anything to be grateful for, I remind myself that while I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach, for the time being, there are millions of men, women, and children around the world who don't have access to those basic life necessities on a regular basis.

Gratitude focuses your attention away from what isn't showing up in your life and onto what you do have that is so great. Gratitude can help you gain a new perspective on what's actually going on by boosting your willpower. It will make you feel more grounded and robust, rather than despairing and burned out.

It's a fantastic way to feel like life is optimistic, not hopeless when you're with others who respect your contribution and who need your aid - whether it's the environment, animals, children, or other adults in need.

Not only will volunteering allow you to realize that others are going through terrible times, but it will also serve as a reminder that no matter what is going on in your life, you can still make a difference in the world. What you do counts, and you make a difference in the lives of others.

Find a volunteer opportunity or a charity that is a good fit for your time and energy. Inquire with your friends about where they volunteer. You may even test out a few before settling on one. However, finding one that leaves you feeling invigorated and joyful rather than depressed and exhausted is a must.

Also, if you've reached a point where you can hardly get out of bed because of your lack of willpower, now is the time to start treating yourself better! We're taught that giving is the most important thing we can do, but if we don't take a break and allow ourselves to receive, we may give until we're completely drained.

It doesn't have to be difficult, costly, or intricate. Simply do something that makes you happy for yourself. As often as you can, do stuff like that. You'll feel less hopeless if you give more to yourself. You'll be able to contribute to others more happily and generously.

It doesn't have to be tough, expensive, or time-consuming. Simply do something for yourself that makes you happy. Do something like that as often as you can. Giving more to yourself will make you feel less hopeless. You'll be able to give more cheerfully and generously to others.

It's all too easy to lose our willpower and feel gloomy when we're low on time, energy, or personal happiness. This is when self-care on a daily basis comes in helpful. It means obtaining enough sleep to feel refreshed rather than weary when you wake up.
