You Are Enough
Discovering Your Worth Through God's Eyes

Have you ever felt like you’re not enough? Maybe you’ve been striving to meet expectations at work, in relationships, or even within yourself, only to feel like you’re falling short. If that resonates with you, I want to remind you of something life-changing: You are enough. Not because of what the world says, but because of what God says.
You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
One of the most powerful truths in Scripture is found in Psalm 139:14: "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Think about that for a moment. God Himself created you, intentionally and with love. He doesn’t make mistakes, and He certainly didn’t start with you.
The world, however, can be noisy. It tells us that our worth is tied to what we achieve, how we look, or how perfect our lives appear to others. But the truth of God’s Word is clear: Your worth is not based on performance or perfection. It’s based on being a child of God, created in His image (Genesis 1:27).
Three Steps to Embrace Your God-Given Worth
1. See Yourself Through God’s Eyes
Stop for a moment and reflect on Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
You are not here by accident. God has a unique purpose for your life, and that purpose is full of hope and promise.
2. Speak Life Over Yourself
What we say about ourselves matters. If you’ve been telling yourself things like “I’m not good enough” or “I’ll never measure up,” it’s time to replace those lies with God’s truth. Here are some affirmations to start with:
- “I am deeply loved by God” (John 3:16).
- “I am chosen and called” (1 Peter 2:9).
- “I can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13).
Speak these words aloud. Write them down. Keep them close, and let them renew your mind.
3. Embrace God’s Plan for You
It’s easy to compare your life to others, but comparison steals joy. Trust that God’s plan for you is uniquely yours. Even your challenges are part of His greater purpose (Romans 8:28). Remember, your value doesn’t come from being perfect but from being loved by a perfect God.
A Personal Note
I’ve wrestled with feelings of inadequacy more times than I can count. I’ve compared myself to others, thinking I wasn’t smart enough, pretty enough, or accomplished enough. But over time, I’ve learned to turn down the noise of the world and lean into the truth of Scripture. If I can learn to see myself the way God sees me, I know you can too.
Closing Encouragement
Today, I encourage you to take one small step toward embracing your God-given worth. Whether it’s reflecting on Psalm 139, writing down a Bible-based affirmation, or simply pausing to pray, remind yourself of this truth:
You are loved. You are chosen. You are enough.
As Ephesians 2:10 says: “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”
God didn’t make a mistake when He made you. Live boldly, knowing that your worth comes from Him, not the world.
