Why do people defend corporations and billionaires?

What amazes me is that there are people out there that defend billionaires and low wages. In order to get a billion dollars or more you have to either be good at what you do, and I mean really good [very few singers, actors and athletes reach this level] or more likely good at exploiting people [workers usually]

Many of us get to see rent, mortgage, home owners insurance, groceries and such increase but our wages remain stagnant. Some people may blame a particular President but in realty this is what the billionaire class wants. The politicians are usually their puppets. You will get their defenders tell you that you should simply find another job but most companies now pay low wages since they can get away with it while they earn record profits. They know it is harder for you to leave since you will appear desperate during interviews as well as just have a hard time in general. My favorite is when their puppets tell you to start your own business as if it is that easy and as if starting your own business is an excuse to exploit your employees. Of course many of them will claim to own their own businesses which makes you wonder how are there workers if so many own their own businesses. I remember Obama once said that these corporate shills didn't build anything thing without government help and a lot of people were upset with him claim the rich did build it and even I thought at the time he was a fool. Now I know about corporate welfare and all the subsidies these businesses get and yet they want to under pay their employees.

These business owners an their puppets will have the audacity to call their workers lazy for wanting more pay and falsely claim prices will increase as if prices are not already increasing. Their puppets seem to really bang on about prices increasing if wages increase. I heard a guy complain that construction was getting expensive because minimum wage was increasing but most people that do construction make more than minimum wage. These businesses love illegal immigrants since they help bring down wages and their puppets will rush to defend illegal immigration.

The puppets of the rich and businesses act as if billionaires and corporations do not get special breaks. I do not have the time to go into all the breaks the rich get.

I use to work at a store in the early 90's and I remember this cashier told me I was nobody since she asked why it took so long for us to get a price check and I simply told her that we were in the back unloading a truck. That seemed to make her upset but proves a point. Some people are so weak and have their head so far up the butts of the rich that they think you have to have money and/or be famous to be somebody. Sad really. My family and I as well as a cousin of ours was at a McDonald's in the 80's and some girl called us low class because we were not rich. She didn't look like she had a lot of money herself. In Orlando on International Drive in he 80's or 90's a guy was getting upset with everyone walking by and his wife told him, "they are not all like that," then he pointed at me. I was dressed casually but obviously this snob not only didn't know how to relax but also thought he was better than everyone. My point here is that too many people think money, your job or fame defines who you are but in each of these cases I would consider these people trash, no matter how much or how little money they had. It is pathetic to judge someone by their job.

Most rich people could not survive 5 minutes in the poor man's/woman's world but we all could survive forever in theirs. They are not as mighty as they think they are.

A lot of these puppets of the rich act as if the poor shouldn't have anything such as smartphones. You can get a decent smartphone for under $100 since many places have specials and you can use a carrier such as Boost mobile and pay very little. The same goes for internet but the puppets of the rich act as if the poor should walk everywhere, have no smartphones or internet. They also act as if the poor and middle class spend most of their money on these items. I am not saying there are no poor or middle class that overspend but when you have no money or credit that becomes impossible. These puppets just want to kiss billionaire and corporate butt.

I am not anti-capitalism but I believe in controls. I also believe that financial literacy needs to be taught in schools and college. With everything there needs to be controls in place and workers deserve fair pay. Worse is when you do everything to find a job and are stuck at a place for more than 20 years and your wages have barely moved so now you have to cancel your health insurance to have any money.

One more thing for those that like to say that if wages go up then prices will follow. Remember that prices are skyrocketing thanks to the greed of the companies and billionaires you worship without wages going up and workers are already being replaced by robots.
