The first thing you have to understand is; in life, there is no right or wrong, no good or evil.

When you are a kid, you whine about your parents being too strict.

When you are the parent, you complain about your kids for not being obedient.

When you are the pedestrian, you hate cars that don't give way.

When you are the driver, you dislike pedestrians that jaywalk.

When you are the employee you say your boss is over-demanding.

When you are the boss, you find your employee irresponsible.

Who is right, who is wrong? The truth is, there is no right or wrong answer.

It is humanity’s intrinsic attribute to be self-centred.

If we aren’t, we would have been Saints.

Many people love to stand on moral high ground to criticise others, but do they know enough to know better? They are not the person subjected to the circumstances, their interests are not on the line and they won’t understand the considerations involved.

In this world, there is no good or evil, only strong or weak. Our loyalty to our moral values has evolved into our loyalty to monetary value. When you are poor and worthless, what surrounds you are condescending looks and distanced acquaintances. When you are rich and successful, even your enemies and strangers will claim to be your friends and relatives.

If no one is listening to you, it is because you are poor or you don’t have anything that others need, i.e. you have no bargaining chips. If so, you are ready to be eaten alive.

There is no one on this planet that has the duty to be loyal to another person, regardless if they are friends or relatives, and even to some extent families. Everyone fights for their own interest.

What you call good and evil, right and wrong, these are instruments used by the strong party to humiliate the weak party. When you are the strong party, you set the rules and you decide who is right. You can stand on moral high ground to criticise the weak. When you are weak, you can only complain about the injustice, you don’t have the moral high ground because no one is listening to you, all you do is complain, rant and frustrate. You are destined to be bullied, to be eaten, and to be sacrificed.

This is the new reality of the world we are living in. No one on this planet has the duty to ensure your well-being. If you want to be strong, then you have to understand that you can only depend on yourself, and the two important things you need. One is having enough money in your pocket, the other is having the right bargaining chips in your hand. If you have none of these, and all you do is complain, you can only be the sheep waiting to be skinned by the wolves.

If you are a writer who writes well but is discouraged because your stats have been going down, don’t be despair, more important don’t rant or criticise. The most useless thing to do is complain, it is negative energy that leads you to nowhere and ends up with more frustration.

Focus your energy on building up your bargaining chip. It can be anything that other people will want to associate with. The more you have the better you are. If you are a writer, the best bargaining chip you can have is not your perfect writing skills or that you were an editor for some BIG name publication. The best bargaining chip is your subscribers/followers base.

You can find a writer who can write with perfect English anywhere anytime. But it is hard to find someone who has 50K subscribers or 100K followers. The more you have the better you are regardless of the platform that you write on.

Don’t let other people’s success frustrate you. Learn how to leverage others’ success to reach yours.
