Unconventional motivational routes

Conventional is cliched!

It's typically full of cliché advice when it comes to encouraging and pushing oneself. "Don't give up or Get over it," and also "Always look on the positive side of life" are all phrases used to encourage people to keep going. These are only a couple of instances. While they're all true in principle, this type of thinking isn't working anymore in most cases. In fact, they're so hackneyed and overused that most of us miss the point.

Some people even get too much irritated by hearing these same words. It is often said that the only thing constant in this world is change. Therefore, we have to adopt such things in life where we can motivate ourselves through unconventional methods. By these methods, we can actually get motivated since they are not the repeated versions of the old ones.

No pain, No gain

Accept the discomfort. Accept it voluntarily. There's a saying that pain is a weakness that leaves the body, which indicates that no matter how difficult or painful the situation is, you'll emerge stronger. So, when things become rough, don't be scared. Instead, force yourself to accept what is coming and trust that you will learn from it.

Punishment

Even if they don't enjoy it, people are twice as likely to work in order to avoid a penalty as to work toward a reward. Rather than focusing simply on receiving a reward for excellent conduct, find a strategy to establish consequences for failing to complete your task. That scary feeling of not doing your work on time will keep you motivated to achieve your dreams and success.

Stepping back

It may sound a bit confusing that how on earth can steeping back be the motivation towards your success. It especially applies to those scenarios where things are not going your way. For a little moment, halt your progress. Simply said, quit. Instead, take a step back. It may sound counterintuitive, but do you realize what it can do for you? You'll be able to see things clearly. Take a step back and re-evaluate your goals, keeping your why in mind. This successfully provides you with the incentive to proceed. You'll make more progress, and your mind will be rejuvenated as a result.

Peer pressure

Peer pressure is something that we never truly grow out of. As a result, if everyone around you is pressing you to do something, you are far more likely to follow through. Try to persuade your friends and family to help you achieve your objectives. See if you can create a productive culture among your friends and family. You'll never allow your lethargy or mood to control your activities this way, and you'll be able to accomplish your goals.

Break

Sometimes taking a break is extremely necessary if you want to achieve your goals and stay motivated. How is that possible? It is because sometimes we are indulged in too much work that our mind needs rest for some time. In this way, we can stay motivated for longer durations in the future. Change of scenery is a great prospect of taking a break. You can also do what you love to do in your leisure!

Friendly failure

Failure is one of your strongest allies and one of the most significant aspects of your success. Accept failure because it will teach you the most important and valuable things you'll ever learn. Failure, however, is not the end of the road. It's not the end of the world if you don't achieve the outcomes you want. Instead, you'll have the chance to study and improve as quickly as possible.
