18 Memorable Kung Fu Panda Sayings To Live By. Top Story - September 2021.
As a kid I honored Po as a Kung Fu genius. It was my first time seeing an unusual Panda perform elite Kung Fu techniques while eating dumplings at the same time. Being born in the year 2000 I remember being 8 when the first Kung Fu Panda movie was released. The movie was a hit. I couldn’t help but to think to myself “How can such a chubby panda be so athletic?” ... “He eats, a lot, but he’s superior?” ..”I love it.” And he’s what the new generation would call a “G.O.A.T” greatest of all time. This is something I can fairly agree on.

THE LIFE LOST
What if I tell you that you are a murderer? Astoundingly the people you murdered were, or maybe, still are your friends. You probably had coffee with one this evening. But the fact that they have not been issued a death certificate is why they are not called dead, but the term that defines them is: 'lifeless' Well, if you think everyone breathing is alive, know that you are judging Humans like plants. Alive may seem many, but few out there are actually alive. Many of your friends can possibly be dead. He might be vigorous physically but might be so dead from the inside. An experiment was run on some kids aged 3-12 years. They were asked to do two of four things: sing, dance, draw a circle on a page or color a square, all in front of them. Surprisingly, 31% of 3-y/o chose to sing and dance, whereas not even one of 11-12y/o did. Only six 3-y/o's refused to sing/dance, whereas 75% of 11-12y/o's declined to do both. For the sake of facilitation of understanding, a kid, when small, is spontaneous enough to express themselves through performing: with no apprehension of being judged. But growing ones are intimidated by the surrounding people who, they think, might judge them based on their performances. Notice how, as soon as a kid enters the labyrinth of reality, the terror of performance successfully banishes the boredom of drawing circles. It is astonishing how children's liveliness is inversely proportional to their theory of mind.¹ theory of mind enables us to understand that others have unique beliefs that are different from ours] In early adolescence, teens get to notice their imperfections by means of comparing them to others. The small insecurities are lingered forever by the increasing bullying in high schools. The slightly insecure kid eventually starts hating himself; the confidence dies within him, and so does Life. That is what I call the 'Mental death'. This Mental death is so much worse than physical death that it makes the victim think physical death to be salvation. My first time on the stage is unforgettable. After few minutes of my speech, some ruthless words from the audience about my voice (my insecurity since always) snatched my words. I ran away from the stage to hide my tears. And. from the next day onwards, I was reminded of my terrible voice every now and then in the form of 'Bullying." Not a unique story. Most teenagers face such tyranny at some point in their lives. The aftermath is vicious yet overlooked. An onerous time awaits the bullied. Repeated rebukes make him start hating himself. The teen eventually loses the life within him. Well, few of us really care. Calculus is not alien to us, but mental health is. Even parents do not seem to care. They are concerned only about grades, and the fact their kid might be dead inside does not ring a bell to them. That leaves the kid lifeless; and life, which takes billions of cells working and a heart beating 24/7, unappreciated and unenjoyed: irony! Consequently, society has way more people dead metaphorically than literally. They are just breathing corpses caught up in the realm of mundane illusion. As Charlie Chaplin said: "The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way." We are so caught up in the demotic concerns that we blindly follow the horrendous loop: quite like machines, we are born, and we die (meanwhile, we kill). It is high time mental health should come to the limelight, to save ourselves from dying years before we are buried. The secret to life is amazingly simple; life lies in appreciation. By appreciating someone, we can save his life, and at the same time, we get a glimpse of our own life as well. And the best thing is we will never run out of things to appreciate, will never run out of life. All we got to do is notice things around, with a positive gesture. The world is full of blessings which makes the endeavor totally worth it. After all, isn't life a beautiful notion to be in love with?

Ten Quotes About Our Need To Lead
If you look up the definition of a leader in the dictionary, you will find words to the effect of " a person who leads or commands a group, organization, or country." For most of us, when we think of someone who is a leader, or someone who is in a position of leadership, we perhaps automatically think of our respective country's prime minister/president, or we think of our boss at work, or we think of someone in charge of an event or organization, or we think of someone who is a senior/long term member of a group/team, with many years of experience. Leadership extends a lot further than simply someone who is "in charge", or being someone of vast experience though. In so many instances, we see individuals in a position of leadership, yet they only ever fill the role as a manager. These individuals have both an obligation and responsibility to be a leader, in the relative roles they are placed into, yet they lack the attributes, attitude, behaviours, traits, mindset, and characteristics that a leader should possess, and this leads to nothing more than management, not leadership. Someone could have really great organizational and time management skills, but it doesn't necessarily make them a leader. I can think of at least three different managers that I worked under, during my time in the corporate world, who completely lacked the attributes of a leader, even if they may have thought themselves as being the bees knees. They were perhaps achieving credible results from a business perspective, but on the flip side, they completely lacked people management and coaching skills. All they focused on was profiting for the company, so they could get their name up in the lights, and be recognized for their contribution and work. The thing is, when you don't have the skills to inspire your team, show empathy, respect, and consideration to them, and role model/demonstrate the right behaviours and attitudes, then you immediately lose their respect. That and you fast demotivate them. Results may filer through, but they could be so much better with proper leadership, not to mention the fact that many staff end up leaving the workplace altogether anyway, as they are not happy with the environment they are working in, and I'm talking good quality staff too.

Ten Quotes To Encourage You Into A Habit Of Daily Meditation
I never was a believer in meditation, probably because I never really understood it. I just thought it was nothing more than some form of religious act, but then again, I was always very naïve. Having spoken with a medical professional earlier on the year, after I entered into a time of severe depression, they advised me to give meditation a go, to try and help me with my mindset. They referred me to a certain meditation app, which I wasn't exactly that inspired about trying out, but I'm sure glad I did. When we think of vital organs within the body, we think of the heart, the liver, the kidneys, the lungs, the pancreas, and so forth, but let's focus on the brain for a minute here, because that contains one of the most important components of our body, which happens to determine our destiny. I'm talking, of course, about the mind. The mind is what determines our thoughts, our feelings, our decisions, our actions, our mood, our behaviour, our attitude, our beliefs, and our emotions. It's from the effective and productive use of our mind that we can guide ourselves towards success, happiness, and prosperity, but when we fail to use it in such a manner, we can often find ourselves living a life void of such blessings, satisfaction, and fulfilment. We allow the stresses and worries of everyday life to overwhelm us. The unfortunate truth here is that most people don't use their mind effectively and productively. It's not that they don't want happiness, success, and prosperity, quite the opposite actually, but they just lack the ability to control their mind. Their minds are filled up with destructive thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours, all because they allow others to easily influence and manipulate them. They become too focused on pleasing others, and trying hard to make others like them, when all the while they are sacrificing a life of happiness and success in the process.
