What is the best way to deal with procrastination?
Use tasks and distractions to slow them down by making them depend on what you need to complete whatever you set out to do. Active procrastination delays start so you can focus on other urgent tasks or work on others, especially when you thrive under pressure. In the workplace, you can use the delay as a source of encouragement for other important activities.

The Psychology of Not Admitting Mistakes & The Sunk Cost Fallacy
All humans are essentially ego-driven creatures. Starting from a young age we develop an identity — a self-concept and self-image — constructed of our beliefs and how we view ourselves. Most of us think of ourselves as pretty decent people, better than average in certain areas, maybe a little worse than average in a few, but always trying to do our best. We believe we see the world realistically, and act rationally.

My Relationship with Writing
I love to tell stories. Ideas come to me in my dreams, in the shower, and even on the toilet (I know I'm not alone there). For all my enjoyment telling stories, I have yet to officially tell my own. I guess part of my love of storytelling is the fact that it doesn't have to be about me. Sort of an escape from my own reality. Sometimes it's nice to create the life for a character that you, yourself, would've found exciting. There are certainly several reasons I enjoy writing. It's a release. It exercises the brain. It's outright fun. Okay, yes, I like writing. I've made that abundantly clear. I'm probably just stalling. So here goes, my story. For you.

The Confessional
The Confessional Whether we realize it, or not, the car has been a true confessional. When alone, you can confess to yourself how your car responses are similar to your daily responses in other areas of your life. The car is where we show who we really are while behind the wheel. What personality type do you exhibit behind the wheel? Are you easily annoyed by the slow driver ahead of you? Or, are you calm and understanding? Is it 100% of the time that you react the same way to the same stimuli? Or, 70%? What does your behavior reveal about how you are outside the car? Can you tell yourself the truth? If you can see your car behavior as it is, you can learn new areas of your life you may want to tweak everywhere at all times. Even if you are pleased with your responses, by acknowledging them you can deepen, or increase their application.

A Case of the Run-on Story
“Have you ever wanted to stop talking, but you just kept having more to say?” These are famous words in my family, spoken by my younger sister when she was perhaps eight or nine. She is a bubbly, talkative girl who can turn a three-line joke into a novel. While this skill is impressive, there really are times when you just need to stop talking! Or…writing.

The Great Reset of the Legal System
They set the world up in such a way that the mega-rich can hold power over the average person merely because of the wealth they have. If we truly want a more fair and level playing field where we all respect each other for being human, then surely the system of things as they are needs to change.
