What does it really mean to set New Years goals with soul. This means that you are intentional about your choices and set realistic goals that will fit your lifestyle. You must do this carefully and with care so that you can reach your goals without feeling overwhelmed. Fear of the simple thought of what you need to do can lead to inertia or chronic procrastination.

It is a good idea to look back on the year and remember what you can improve upon. As the first post in the new decade, it makes sense to establish 2020 New Year's Goals. Instead of letting life pass you by, it's better to start the year with a set plan than drifting aimlessly through the months. It is much more likely that your vision for the future will come to fruition if you make it clear and write it down. It is not only written down on paper, but also written in your heart and mind. This year, I want to spread love and positivity. Continue reading to learn more about the ways you can begin the New Year.

Eat Fruits and Veggies Regularly

Your year should start with taking care of your health. Canada's food guide states that 50% of your meals must contain healthy proteins, whole grains and fruits and vegetables. Water should be your preferred beverage of choice. Reduce your sugar intake and cut back on calories.

Simple Self-Care

2019 was a year for self-care. You can make 2020 a priority instead of an option. You don't have to do something big. It doesn't have to be complicated. You can recharge your batteries and keep yourself energized by taking some time to yourself. Long walks are a good idea. Enjoy hot baths. Read books. Keep moving and active. Take care of yourself.

Invest in Memorable Experiences

Your New Year's resolutions should include investing in experiences that will take your breath away. Give yourself the gift of happiness by taking a chance on yourself. It can be costly to enjoy special experiences such as dinners, travel, and entertainment. You can afford to have these special experiences, but you might be able to save money and get rid of debt.

Get involved in new hobbies

What is the most enjoyable thing you did? Did you cook, play sports or listen to podcasts? It is not easy to find the time, but it is possible to make time for those things that matter most to you. It is said that time will fly when you have fun. Join a book club, learn a language and start a blog. You should spend your time doing what you love, as well as learning new skills and hobbies.

Don't Say "No" Too Often

Do you have the reputation of being the person everyone turns to for their problems? Are you exhausted from trying to do too much? Don't accept any opportunity that doesn't suit you. Even the most amazing opportunities are not always golden. Refrain from toxic relationships and friends. Keep your peace of mind top priority and say yes to the things that spark a passion in you.

Monetize Your Talents

You don't have to complain about money in 2019 if you are unhappy with your financial situation. You have gifts and talents that you are able to express. Some of these gifts can even be made into a business. Asking for assistance from an outside source is not a good idea. Instead, think about what you can do to attain financial freedom. One source of income is not enough in today's economy. If you want to have the life you desire, diversifying your income streams is essential. Although it takes some time and effort, you can start to make progress and be a step ahead than others who do nothing.
