Not every cloud carries rain, not every sorrow is always bleak.

Some words to myself

Saigon has begun to transform in the early summer days. Heavy clouds pass by but they aren't enough to bring rain. Somewhere, they say 'not every cloud brings rain.' It's true... not every cloud brings rain, and not every sorrow is always bleak.

A 30-year-old girl... she considers herself to have just ended what's called 'youth', always carrying her own private sorrows, worries, and concerns, the things she has to guard against and fear in her heart.

In Saigon, amidst 8 million people, the girl remains small amid the bustling crowd. Yes, Saigonese are like that, cold and indifferent. Because life is hurried and tiring, they no longer have the time, trust, or energy to care about someone sitting on the sidewalk crying because their expectations have just shattered, someone rushing through the night just to escape their own desperate despair, someone holding back their tears for plans and escapes that others still hesitate to courageously undertake.

But dear girl, if you are still sad...

Remember that whatever will come, will come, and whatever is gone, is gone. Flowers bloom only to wither, and people meet only to part ways. After all, we will meet new people in new places to paint a new picture for our lives. Or perhaps we won't meet anyone new, but we will become much stronger, determined, and resilient.

Dear girl, if you are still sad...

Don't imprison yourself in such things anymore. What will come, will come, and what will go, will go. Hug yourself and be strong. Because there are still family, relatives, and you are not alone. When you are tired, come back home.

Home is not just four walls and a roof to shield you from the sun and rain. Home is where many people always silently observe, listen, and support you when you burst out with emotions, always with a helping hand to lift you up when you fall, or sometimes, they will fall with you.

So dear girl, if you are still sad...

Remember that you are not alone, and you have so many people by your side. In the end, every departure is due to fate, and it has its own reasons. Love those who leave you in silence because you've suffered enough, haven't you? So, they won't be happy either.

So why should you be sad, mournful, and worried? When both you and others share the same sky and breathe the same air. Remember... any departure is preordained, and it has its own reasons. Love those who have left you in silence. You've suffered, haven't you? Then they are also not happy.

So be free from sorrow because there are still so many people beside you. Among them, so many people need your strength. When your youth has passed, be the place where others return when they stumble instead of you falling on their shoulders. Be strong, dear girl. The Earth is round, and those who truly love each other, even if they go a thousand miles away, will find their way back to each other. Believe that someday in the not-so-distant future. And even if you never meet again, be happy, be at ease because we all belong to such things.

Goodbye... youth...

And as the sun sets over Saigon, painting the sky in shades of red and gold, the city continues its relentless pace, a bustling symphony of life and dreams, where every cloud carries the promise of a new day, and not every sadness is an ending, but the beginning of something beautiful.
