Mirror Talk

Part one of many

I don’t care if you identify as straight, gay, transgender, lesbian, bisexual, a furry, asexual, pan sexual or all of them or even none of them. I want you to look in the mirror and see who you are as I see you. A person, a human being, a spiritual being, a soul, a heart beat, and a voice that cries out for love and a human that wants to know why they exist.

There are billions of people, but no one has experienced life exactly as you have. There may be many similarities like same age, same family structure, same job, same neighborhood, same religion, but no one is quite like you or has your story. No one in the world knows the real you unless you open up and share your gifts. We are all unique and made to do something great and we can either be great or watch others be great.

I can give you wisdom and encouragement, but it’s up to you to receive it and believe it. You can win even though you have been defeated. You can overcome almost any obstacle in life. I know you have potential inside you, it may be buried deep down, or it could be almost bursting through your skin. You can be who you want to be, it may be hard or tough though. It may mean sleepless nights, extra stress, more work hours, more pain, but you can and won't be stopped.

You are a super hero. Maybe you aren't Batman, or Superman, but by being alive and always pushing forward and never giving up on life, that my friend is a true superhero. So many people always dwell in the past, and thus are unaware of their surroundings in the now. You may have had a huge house, and now you live in a studio apartment, but you don't see it. You are still dreaming of that life you once had, but now don't. You have to push on and go for the gold. Life will pass you bye if you let it, soo don't.

Win for me, but more importantly win for you. Win for the little guy, the underdog, the people who barely have a chance but hold on with the littlest amount of hope. Win to prove everyone wrong, every person that doubted you. Win for all the times you lost and kept pushing on, kept moving forward. When you win, I hope you pop open a bottle of champagne and toast to you and also your favorite motivational speaker, Tequila Robb.

Don't let losing affect you. We all lose at times, but when we learn from losing, we gain wisdom. If you lose and learn nothing, then you lost more then once. At times in life, we go through valleys of growth and losing is part of that process. I want you to win, but I also know in life sometimes we lose more then we win, but it does make winning that much sweeter. Learn from loss, and use that to help you win in life, relationships, and jobs.

I hope you believe in something more than yourself as well, a higher power so to speak. I also hope these words speak to you as well. Enjoy your life, every day as if it could all be over any second. No regrets, do whats on your bucket list now if you can. DO it for me, and do it more importanlty for you.
