Make a Move

Let 2019 Be the Year

By Shauna CampbellPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

Complaining doesn't change your situation.

Action changes your situation.

Ideas are not enough to make dreams come true.

The work that you put into your ideas is what makes dreams come true.

Some people constantly complain about their situation but never do anything to bring about change. What do you really think complaining will do for your situation?

Will it make the situation magically disappear?

Will it make things get better or will it just make you tired and keep the situation exactly the same?

Complaining is basically just expressing the way you feel about something that is bothering you. In a perfect world, complaining to someone would make your situation change, but in reality, when you complain to someone about a situation or about something you are not pleased with, it doesn't change a thing. First off, not everyone listens to complaining, there are some people who automatically just block it out. They pretend to be listening but it is really not registering. If it is not registering then you knock it is clearly just going over their head. It is like a wife constantly complaining to her husband about his behavior. He isn't really listening to her anymore, all he hears is complaining but to him it sounds more like nagging. Which doesn't help either one of their situations and it doesn't bring about any change. The situation just stays the same.

It is better if you get up and act on what you want to see done. Be the change that you are looking for. If you want something done then make the necessary moves to make it happen. Plan it out and act on your plans. Yes, it is good to get how you feel off your chest but that is really not enough. It is time to make a move. Most people don't listen but they respond very well to action. Stop complaining and make a move.

You're tired of your job and you want a better job. Then get up and make the necessary moves to get a new and better job. Complaining about your work won't do anything. It is better if you make a move. It works the same way with anything else in your life.

Your man isn't treating you right then make a move.

You want to go back to school then make a move.

When you want to start a business, it has to be planned out. There needs to be an action plan, an idea is not enough to take the business where it needs to go. You have to put some work behind that idea. Plan out what needs to be done to take that business off the ground. Make a move and work upon it. Start marketing and reaching out to the required audience.

In the same way, starting a business needs more than just an idea; is the same way with anything in life.

Ideas are great but if you don't make a move, then the idea will stay on the paper or in your mind and never manifest.

If you've been planning on 2017 and in 2018 but haven’t made a move yet to accomplish your dreams and make them into reality, then I believe that it is time to make a move.

Step out on that idea.

In 2019, make a move towards accomplishing your dreams. Make a move towards doing what you always wanted to do. Let 2019 be the year where you act on those plans. Let 2019 be the year that you MAKE A MOVE.

It is that time to move forward. Let 2019 be your year.
