If you are a human, you are almost certainly familiar with the feelings of fear and trepidation that accompany trying new and unfamiliar things, putting yourself out there, or taking a chance.

When they are powerful enough, they have the ability to halt you in your tracks, making you seem immobilized, motionless, and unable to proceed. Everyone has feelings of dread and uncertainty at some point in their lives, but not everyone allows them to prevent them from accomplishing their ambitions or completing their objectives. So, what is it that these people do that makes it possible? The goal is to refuse to allow fear and doubt to take control of your life and instead find a way to move on in spite of your fears and doubts.

Remember that when we experience fear, our brain is just performing its job, which is to keep us as secure and as far away from potential danger as it possibly can be. This is particularly useful when we are in immediate bodily danger. Consider the following scenario: we are being preyed on by a saber-toothed tiger. Unfortunately, it is not very useful when it comes to us wanting to go ahead into uncharted terrain in pursuit of new objectives and ambitions, as it is in many other situations.

The most essential thing to do is to identify when we are being held back or paralyzed by fear and uncertainty, since it can be extremely simple to get entangled in their spiral without even recognizing what is happening.

We often ignore or suppress our emotions, or we keep ourselves occupied with our daily activities, in an unconscious effort to avoid dealing with our emotions. What's worse is that the our brain becomes more and more active as we get closer and closer to acting toward our goals and objectives.

That being said, once we become aware of the problem, there are numerous strategies we can employ to successfully combat the paralyzing effects of fear and doubt. Then we can begin to more easily take the actions that are required to move forward in the direction of our true desires – regardless of what they are.

Take note of where the physical sensation of what you're experiencing manifests itself in your body and simply sit with it. Allow it to exist. Ignore the mind's attempts to interject with any thoughts as you concentrate solely on the physical sensation.

If thoughts do continue to arise, try to place them in a bubble off to the side of your mind. Close your eyes and concentrate solely on the physical sensations you are experiencing. Don't forget to take deep breaths.

We should allow our emotions to flow through us because they are simply "energy in motion." The fear will always be there, so why not allow it to manifest itself? Suppressing or ignoring it will only result in increased anxiety, stress, and illness in the long run. I'm suggesting that we allow it to exist only as physical energy, rather than attempting to force it to disappear.

Pay close attention to what you're seeing with all of your senses. What does it have a scent like? What are the sounds that you're hearing? What is the landscape like or what time of year is it? Consider the nature of your conversations and interactions. Put yourself in the position you would be in if the event were already taking place.

As you lean into the pleasure of getting precisely what you want, pay attention to the feelings that arise in your body. This FEELING, rather than the circumstance itself, is really what your heart desires more than the situation itself. Bringing this into your conscious awareness on a regular basis will stimulate your senses and assist you in becoming more motivated to act steps towards its realization.

Is there a reason why we've spoken about letting go of your fears? This is due to the fact that it brings pleasure and prosperity into your life. You have the ability to successfully deal with the difficulties of life.
