Where am I?
Writing. I guess it is my new calling. Not something I had foreseen happening, just something that came from necessity. After a forced voluntary redundancy last year and a whirlwind free training course provided by the government, I found myself with new qualifications and a desire to get back to work but with no avenue (or so I thought) to pursue that.

Best Reads of 2020
I can confidently say that 2020 certainly did not go the way any of us expected it to go. As this turbulent year finally comes to end, it is important to look back on one of the positives that came out of everything that happened over the last twelve months. One of the biggest things that I’m grateful for is the amount of time that I was able to dedicate to reading. Although 2020 wasn’t perfect (not even close to perfect, if I’m being honest), I was able to find my enjoyment in reading again. I read more than 30 books this year, and I want to take some time to give you my Best Reads of 2020.

How to Discover and Achieve What you Want in Life
New year’s resolutions are lame Don’t wait until Jan 1st to implement positive changes to your life. Start now. Start today. If it’s really something that will improve your life you owe it to yourself to get after it immediately to reap the benefits. If it’s a diet, start it today. But what if I blow it during the holidays? then you blow it. Don’t judge yourself, just start again the next day. If you started now versus Jan 1st, you get 3 weeks of being closer to your goal. Don’t put off something that’s good for you because of the holidays. There are always going to be things that cause you to slip or fall off a plan. That’s ok, what matters is getting back on track when you get off. Rant over. Let’s get to the meat and potatoes.

Between 2020 and 2021
The year 2020 is nearing the end, and the possibility of creating a new start in 2021 is becoming more and more realistic. Should we expect a turn of events when the clock strikes midnight? Well, of course not, that would be a fool’s errand, but I can’t seem to escape the notion that some people are looking forward to that. There is this slim chance that there will be a global turnaround, but I wouldn't put all of my eggs in one basket.

10 Quotes To Remind Us Of The Importance Of Serving Others
I find it astounding how so many people live their life with the belief that the pathway to happiness, greatness, satisfaction, wealth, and success, comes via selfishness, greed, and by undermining others. That's right, a vast number of people worldwide actually believe that caring only about themselves, ignoring those less fortunate than them, refusing to help or give to others, and treating others with complete disrespect and ill consideration, is the sure way to achieving an amazing and rewarding life. It's no coincidence that the overwhelming majority who believe this, quite often find themselves living their life in complete dissatisfaction, unhappiness, bitterness, anger, and failure. They find themselves constantly chasing money and happiness, which continually eludes them. Their decisions and actions are based solely on what benefits them, as they turn their backs on others who may be in need of support, encouragement, or help. The worst part to this, is quite often it's even their own friends, family, and neighbors, to whom they decline to assist. Money is the biggest culprit, as people crave and worship it, always seeking to possess it rather than use it for the greater good of the world. Whilst life is about finding happiness, success, and fulfillment, for ourselves, we all also have an obligation to be helping our fellow man and woman. There's nothing that prevents us from striving for our goals, whilst helping and supporting others in the process. Together, being goals driven and serving others, combine for a magical combination. Those who live their lives helping others, displaying generosity and kindness, and bringing joy and support to others, are usually the most happy and satisfied people on the planet. Helping others actually helps ourselves, because the satisfaction we gain from doing so, enhances our lives. We should be living to serve others, always seeking ways to enhance their lives, encouraging them to achieve their goals, and supporting them to create success and happiness. Serving others isn't about doing what others tell you to do, living your life to be pleasing them. Serving others is about allocating your time and money to help improve the lives of others, not to be a slave to them. It's about bringing joy and happiness to their lives, whilst being there to support them, encourage them, and uplift them, to be creating a better future for themselves. Here are 10 quotes to remind us of exactly how important serving others is in life, and how we can help build a better future for, not only them, but ourselves also.

Four Steps to Build a Habit
I work from home or a coffee shop. OK. I work from a coffee shop. Come on, caffeine is my one vice. Whether you work from home or your favorite legal addictive stimulate dispensary, both places provide major distractions to remain busy but not productive.
