Archimedes' Principle for Forgiveness and Spiritual Health
Archimedes Principle and Forgiveness. I love hearing Grandma stories. No one is as wise as a well lived Grandma. I had one and I appreciate others as well. One such Granny used to say “water seeks its own level”. This is probably the best piece of advice I ever received, basically she was clueing me in to the idea that people will go as high as their own level of will can reach. This level is NOT absolute but is governed by the development of the person involved.

Life's lessons
Good morning my lovely readers! Two days ago I wrote a story about my car breaking down in awful weather and having to walk to get help. Well guess what happened today? My car broke down, it was pouring rain and the sidewalks were covered with snow making it necessary for my daughter to brave traffic and walk in the street for help. It was an awful day that did not end with cash in my pocket. Lets see if I can switch gears and make a not so awful day happen tomorrow. hopefully a more positive story will accomplish just that. happy reading.

The Test of Time
Stuck in a rut, literally, this little black book is jammed in a cracked and decrepit wall that stands - barely - next to the riverbank. Rushing water flows by me treacherously and the long unkempt grass is dotted with wildflowers and weeds that sway on the banks, thanks to the breeze that floats off the tumultuous water, all while this brick wall stands, defying gravity and slowly succumbing to the elements. Vines bleed through the grey cracks, and a spider’s webbing floats along the many shades of crimson that make up the wobbly remnants of a long forgotten structure. Scattered next to the wall are rusting beer cans, smashed bottles, and miscellaneous wrappers - their identifying marks long since worn away. Amidst this scene, standing out as if screaming to be rescued, is a black bound book perfectly placed inside a toppling wall.

Sometimes its cloudy in the Morning
SOMETIME'S IT'S CLOUDY IN THE MORNING BY: KID KID KID Joy comes in the morning, but lately it’s been cloudy. But I wouldn’t want to live in a world without it. Even if I don’t see the sun I know it’s morning so I start going.” You know they need you,” I say to myself, I know I need help and that’s all I know.

I wrote this a few years ago...
*** I debated on whether to post this blog because it makes me sound sad and depressed. When in reality, I’m sad and depressed, but I’m writing to try to think things through. It’s 10% rant,76% pity party, and 28% self-discovery. So if you’re not in the mood for a depressing post I urge you to move on to read about your passions.

Little Black Book
Graelin was laying in her bed listening to the water dripping from the leak in her ceiling. She had inherited the house when her parents died in a car accident a couple of years ago. The little green bungalow needed work, but the mortgage was paid so she’d have to find the money somehow to fix the roof before it got too much worse. Her alarm startled her and she groaned as she shut it off as she rolled out of bed. She quickly got ready for work and walked out to her car. That’s when she noticed the flat tire. As she slumped against the old blue sedan, she muttered, “I’m going to be late again”.

I chopped off my identity crisis
I know I'm not the first person to think you can just bleach away the old parts of ourselves we no longer want to see. Our hair is one of the first things people notice about each other, so we use it to introduce ourselves. A clean bob because you're a working woman who doesn't have time to style it everyday, beachy waves with highlights because you are care-free and eternally sun-kissed, or half shaved because F the gender roles society has chained us to. Of course these are just stereotypical generalizations, but you'd be lying if you said you have never met anyone who fits at least one of these descriptions.

A Contest
“Did you see it?” “See what?” “The flyer on the board.” Maria flicked her head towards the board, it was break and she was more than comfortable. Stretched out collapsed in the blue plastic chair the school was so generous to make sure they had enough. She had her favorite Coffee mug in hand as if it were mittens warming her soul.
