The Whole Point

How does any of this exist? We exist as human beings because that is precisely what we are: pure consciousness. At times, even the body and mind feel separate from what truly makes up humanity. There is no way we are as useless as some would like to think. Everyone seems so individually and uniquely connected to something greater than themselves. There are so many points to be made, yet the focal point of this subject is that life must never be overlooked.

So much of the population would indeed agree to a shared desire in finding life’s porpoise🐬. Something so grandeur yet simple raises more than enough questions to leave one guessing their entire life. Oddly enough, we do not have to understand anything in order to lives (Of course, there is wisdom in observation and understanding, but this is a different subject). Life holds so many aspects to it that the definition can be boiled down to that of an experience. In the end, everything in life seems to work itself out for the better. Both notions and motions seem to be in place to provide the perfect game for us to live. To try and explain all of this in order to start would be set to fail. The purpose of life itself is life itself.

A raising of hands is not necessary to count how many of us have felt trapped in a cage. Passed down from generations prior, lists of theories on what gives our individual lives value blot out the original beauty in things. Ironically, even the glory of success in the things we love can ruin its own value. Material objects such as cars, awards, money, and sex are not at all bad; they are icing on the cake. It seems everyone has been taught to believe that every minute not working is a waist of time. Time is such a valuable metaphor and yet time spent with joy is no time waisted. What is the point working for hours and investing countless minutes towards something that will soon disappear. It is almost as if we have been taught to keep ourselves alive as long as we can just to prepare for the end of our lives as fast as we can. No achievement is worth it if the individual life is not enjoyed. With both the courage to act out a role and the joy to bask in every moment, life in itself is a miracle.

Another problem lies in the fact that we don’t believe we add value to life unless we are winning a Nobel peace prize, or climbing Mt Everest! The fact that we are alive gives us an automatic worth that could never be topped. As long each individual lives their life with true joy and gratitude, world peace could be attained. Although things can be harmful or there is no one, right way to look, act, speak, and live. “Anything is permissable, but not everything is beneficial”. Life is like a giant game board where players may move freely and create their own storyline. A huge reason why someone may appear as a bums could be a result of being told they are worthless. Believing we are worthless without having achieved anything of “unanimously accepted” value not only causes a loss of joy in life, but is the real culprit of demotivation. Nobody lives life deciding they don’t want to do anything. In order to no longer care about ones experience, at some point or another they need the original joy and wonder sucked right out of them. Tell someone how valuable they are today! If everyone had a sense of value and joy, this world would be thriving at a next level!

Another idea to ponder would be that the big stuff isn’t necessarily any better than the simple things. It is not a measurement or value you but a variety of emotions and flavors. Nobody wants Christmas everyday and not one soul could bare waking up to clean the house until they die. For the most part, redundancy equals death. Why is this? Life is infinite. Joy comes with a sense of both curiosity and wonder. When wonder and intrigue on a subject is lost, it’s time to move on to the next thing. Human beings need variety almost as much as they need water. With millions of people slaving for the redundant department of redundancy, our sense of wonder becomes lost, and we become mindless drones with a drop of resentment deep down. Even the things we are passionate about can not possibly hold our attention 24/7. This is why we need time away from the things we love in order to appreciate them even more. The world is so infinite, even this time experience would become drastically dull if we were to live forever; there must be more beyond!

On the opposite spectrum, we can become unappreciative of life because we are too hastily trying to rush from subject to subject. When we have a true appreciation for life at its core, nothing external becomes “the answer”. When external factors don’t become our answer, they can be more thoroughly enjoyed at a smooth pace.

Whether too fast or too mundane, if we do not grasp the concept that life itself is the ultimate value, peace cannot exist. No matter what is happening in the moment, be in the moment! The fast, the slow, the happy, the sad, the hard, the easy will all add variety to an existence that feels beyond movies. Movies get to the point and are scripted to a certain standard. Our lives are unlimited, unapologetic, and relentless testimonies of what is possible. Nothing is valuable because it is huge or simple. Value comes from what is and can be. Value is what is true and right here in the now.
