Alice is a young lady that grew up in a household where she endured neglect and abuse. Her parent were always throwing shades and abuse to each other and Alice grew up in such environment filled with hate and disgust. She endured emotional and verbal abuse at home and that made her become a monster of her own. As a result of that Alice developed a lot of pain and anger within herself. She took her frustration out on everyone around her wounding them with her words and actions because she didn't know how to handle the pain.

She lived her teenage live with so much anger, pain, aggression. She see herself isolated, neglected, abandoned because she was full of hate. She found solace in her loneliness, pain became her best friend because no on would want to associate themselves with someone who is full of aggression, misunderstanding, pain and anger. She was in a dark place. Alice became a product of her environment, a hurt person who is continuously hurting others.

On a faithful day, Alice met a compassionate counsellor who helped her to confront her fears, past trauma, pains and anger and begin the healing process. With self-reflection, therapy, Alice started to embrace her emotional wounds gradually and learn to cope with her feelings.

At first it was hard nut to crack as it was a lot of emotional floods. But the continuous support and guidance of the counsellor began to sit well in his brain and lighten up the dark place he was.

Therapy session became his a place of peace for Alice, a place she could express her experience and feelings, a place she could pour out her sadness, anger, aggression in a healthy and beneficial way. As she poured out her anger, she began to realize that she has allowed her past experience, attitudes and behavior shape her present behavior and attitudes.

Gradually and confidently, Alice began to make difference from her healing process. She has learnt to practice self-care, self-awareness, self- compassion. She has began to treat herself with so much kindness, compassion, love and understanding that was lost from her. She also built a culture of loving, caring, being compassionate to yourself first so you can be able to love, care, be kind and compassionate to others.

Days and months goes by and Alice recovered from her hurt, she began to notice and feel the pain of people around her. But she couldn't react to that with anger, aggression and pain, rather she responded with compassion, kindness and empathy. She listened more than to speak, she now seek to understand more than to be understood. She was willing to share her own path to recovery with those who were in dark places of depression, anger, pain and aggression, offering them help and guidance. She was open, honest, offering a listening ear and offering a presence of comfort to those who are in pain.

Motivated by her own transformation, Alice reached out to her parent and compelled them to embrace their pain and walk through the path of recovery. Alice's authenticity and vulnerability created a big effect starting from her parents, her community, making them believe that they can be normal again, they can love and be loved, they can care and be cared for.

Over the years, Alice transformation and healing motivated those around her to seek their own healing. Alice successfully broke the cycle of hurt and focus on her own growth and well-being. She became a source of inspiration, hope and positivity to her community, her family, proving that "Healed people truly have the ability to heal others".
