When you are in a state of being stuck, weather it be career driven or your personal life , getting unstuck and moving forward in your life or career is always on the mind. This can do damage to your mental and it can get extremely frustrating and exhausting if progressing in your life is all you can think about. You may want to give up or do something drastic with your appearance and that is totally normal! You being aware of this feeling is what is important and what will help you on this journey. Below are three tips/ qualities to practice that could aid in the process of becoming unstuck:

PATIENCE

The moment you feel stuck ,take a step back and tell your self, "it is okay!". Because it is. it is okay to have a temporary blockage. This blockage could mean that you should focus on another part of your life or career. Try not to be so hard on yourself. Knowing when to take a step back and relax is key.You are going to burnout/ lose it, if you are constantly thinking of ways to get unstuck and you are being hard on your self. Normally when you are patient with the process, of whatever journey you are on, you are more likely to take your time. when you take your time you will be able to analyze the situation better. When you are able to analyze the situation you can start to see your next move.

DISTRACTIONS

Once you are patient with yourself , finding a healthy distraction should come easy. You are already taking your time and trusting the process. Now you just need to focus on something or someone for awhile. An example of a healthy distraction is meditation. You can clear your head of all negative thoughts and this feeling of being stuck. Here is a 5 minute video that will help you clear your mind and get you back on track to being productive.

HAVE A NOTE PAD

Write it out!!! Write it out!!! Write it out!!! Get a notepad and keep it close. it can be on your phone or you can get one from your local dollar store. When you start to feel creative or productive you want to be ready. If you write out everything you are thinking weather it be to-do list form or journal form you are releasing bits of the blockage you are experiencing. When you are completely unstuck and back to normal you will have some ideas ready and waiting.
