be more productive
How to be productive and gain efficiency? This is a question I have often asked myself lately.
With the winter that is here and the uncertainties related to COVID, I feel a certain loss of vitality and especially of motivation.
And in these cases, I like to take a step back, reflect and implement changes in my life routine to regain my energy and productivity.
So, if you too are feeling this loss of efficiency, it's high time to take the bull by the horns and get back in the saddle, hahaha!
In this article
#1. You are at the top of the list
be productive
To be more productive, you have to start with yourself.
For a long time, I had the bad habit of looking at my phone right after opening my eyes.
So I found myself on social networks reading the news of the world, or on my e-mails and personal messages.
The result: I was in a state of stress that drained my energy as soon as I woke up.
Reading the news, his e-mails, or even his messages as soon as you get up is not a healthy lifestyle habit because it brings you stress and anxiety when your day has not even started yet.
it is therefore important to establish a productive, healthy, and balanced morning routine that will give you the necessary calm before starting your busy day.
In practice
Wake up without screens, using a real alarm clock.
Take time to stretch and wake up slowly.
Open your curtains or shutters to take in as much natural light as possible.
Eat a healthy, fruit-rich breakfast in peace.
Do your skincare routine correctly.
Exercise or meditate.
These are just examples of what you can change, the most important thing is to have a morning routine that suits your needs and desires.
A routine that allows you to be more productive and start your day at your best.
#2. Have a clean and organized workspace

I don't know about you, but I am unable to work and be productive if my workspace is messy.
Because when your living or working space is in shambles, your mind tends to be too.
So to become more productive, we tidy up our office, or the space in which we work, to make it a clean and welcoming space.
A space that will make you want to work and that will motivate you.
In practice
Start by putting away anything that doesn't belong on your desk.
Regularly clean your work surface, do not let dust and dirt accumulate.
Fill your workspace with items that will make you want to work.
For example, a cup of tea, a notebook to take notes, a small plant, relaxing music in the background, etc.
I love working in front of or next to a window, it brings me natural light and inspiration.
Clean and tidy your workspace after your day, this will allow you to start again the next day on a clean and welcoming desk.
You will thus keep all your motivation and productivity throughout the week.
Too often we underestimate the impact of our living space on our efficiency and productivity, so to be productive at work we put all that away
#3. get organized

This point may seem logical to you but above all very broad, and that is normal.
Being well organized is the basis of great productivity, but it is a very broad concept that differs from person to person.
This is precisely why I have grouped my 5 important points to organize you effectively and therefore be much more productive.
- On paper or using an app
I am a fan of lists, it's very simple, I have them everywhere and especially for everything.
They are powerful and essential for anyone who wants to become more productive because they transfer all our projects, ideas, and tasks from our brains.
This allows us to free our minds and be sure not to forget anything or leave anything out.
In practice
You can use:
A notepad that allows you to organize your week and then your days.
An application that brings together all the tasks that you can classify as you wish (Trello, Todoist, Evernote, etc.).
A PDF template that you fill in with your tasks for the week and print out.
Post-it notes on your computer.
