Positive affirmations are powerful. They can improve your self-confidence, increase your success, and help you achieve your goals. Yet, not many people know how they work or how to use them effectively. Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat to yourself in order to change the way that you think. Negative thoughts come from negative beliefs that stem from past experiences or even things that we've heard others say about us. To make any changes you need to change your beliefs; and the best way to do this is with positive affirmations. Here are some suggestions for using positive affirmations in your life and tips for making them work for you.

How positive affirmations work

Positive affirmations are statements that you repeat to yourself to change the way that you think. Negative thoughts come from negative beliefs about ourselves or our lives. These negative thoughts can stem from past experiences, but they might also be things that we've heard others say about us. To make any changes you need to change your beliefs; and the best way to do this is with positive affirmations.

Tips for using affirmations

The first thing you need to do is to identify what your current beliefs are. You can ask yourself some questions to help you figure out what they are. For example, consider the following:

-What do I tell myself about my past?

-How do I feel about my present?

-What am I afraid of in the future?

-What do I believe is true about me and others?

Once you understand your own beliefs, it's time to start changing them with affirmations. Choose statements that are both believable and measurable. Set goals for yourself that you would like to achieve and then state those goals as affirmations. Choose statements that focus on one key area (self-confidence, success, spirituality) at a time. Again, set goals for yourself and repeat those goals as affirmations throughout the day. Make sure that they are things that you want or need, not just things that sound good. Affirmations work because they represent something different than what we've been used to saying to ourselves all this time; so repetition is necessary!

Examples of affirmations

Here are some examples of affirmations to try when you're feeling down about yourself:

· I am a good person.

· I have worth.

· I am enough.

· You deserve love.

· You are capable.

These affirmations might not feel true when you first say them, but if you continue saying them, they will eventually become your new beliefs. Remember, it takes time for any changes in the mind to take hold and change your life in a big way. Affirmations can give you a sense of peace because you know that no matter what happens to you, things will always work out because you have the power to change your thoughts and see the good in yourself. If these affirmations don't seem to be working for you, try looking at pictures or videos of people who do things that annoy or anger you--it will help balance out any negativity that might be left over from those photos or videos by putting positivity back into your life.

Conclusion

With a little creativity and a willingness to take a step out of your comfort zone, you can create affirmations that will help you meet your goals and create a life you love.

With all of that said it all boils down to if you love your self or not .
