Everyone around the world has experience the effects and side effects of the Pandemic. Life has shifted and changed as we know it. So many people say aloud to themselves, “Geesh", can’t wait until things get back to normal”. The truth is things have changed, and our lives have been turned from many different angles, but he must learn to adjust, by finding healthy and Godly lifestyle changes. We have experienced the pandemic individually, some loss loved ones, some decided why to wait to get married hey, let us just jump the broom right away, some experienced break ups, some invited a new baby into the world, some lost their jobs, some found a new career, and some purchased their first home. This pandemic brought on the good and the bad. Through it all, wouldn’t you like to find happiness and hope??? Where is your sanity???

You find your happiness by taking it one day at a time. Never think you need to have it all together by midnight lol it is just not realistic. Grab a journal and jot down your dreams and visions. Inspire your creativity through journaling. Journaling helps you gather your thoughts and ideas on paper rather than trying to keep it all in your mind. Keeping a load of desires, wants, ideas etc. in your mind can cause a break down, stress, overwhelmed feelings, exhaustion and you to reach a boiling point of burn out. It could even cause a mental disorder if you are not careful. Journaling is a start to self-help and self-care. Another, way to keep your sanity and find happiness in a pandemic is to create a zoom virtual meeting to engage with your family and friends, play virtual games that engage you and your loved ones in spending quality time together although you cannot touch one another. Take a walk (bring your mask to wear when necessary). Start an exercise routine to get fit and healthy. Create new healthy recipes. If you always wanted to write a book, now is a perfect time to get started right????

Look the point is we all must make the sound decision to push in a world that seems to be turned upside down. Have you ever thought of why things have changed drastically? Maybe it was a way to say things really need to change, the world was heading down a destructive path. Let us take lemons and make lemonade. Let us come together and unify, by respecting and loving one another. Let us be better than we were before. Let us show love instead of hate. All the above are ways to become a happier YOU. When we get out of our own way and leave our past mistakes behind and press toward the mark of the high calling and become everything we were are intended to be, we can walk into joy, peace, abundance, and pure bliss. Maybe, you are not sure who you are called to be and need to seek it out , find out what brings your life purpose and meaning. I find the Bible to be very encouraging and full hope in a pandemic, no matter what we go through. Remember if you allow what you go through to be an excuse, nothing changes. but allow yourself be a testimony to help someone else, and you can get through tough times and defeat them. You become a conqueror, and you recognized that this too shall pass. So, go and be happy, no complaining. Triumph!

How do you spend your time during this pandemic? What is your interest? Have you re-evaluated your life during this sensitive time? What New Year’s resolutions have you said you would start and stick to? Do you think a New Year’s resolution is necessary? How do you find happiness in tough times? Have you ever thought about finding your happy place, if not now is the time to rediscover a new and improved YOU, Start that business, help someone who will never be able to repay you, read a new positive book, change your eating habits, do something that will bring you peace and joy. Finding happiness and peace during this pandemic is necessary for your health. Go and flourish. Remember caterpillars blossom into beautiful butterflies.
