You can also work more creatively, or you can do anything that enables you to get greater leverage and results from your efforts.

The world has changed dramatically, and we must change with it. In less than two generations, we have moved from the Industrial Age through the Service Age and into the Information Age. In the Information Age, knowledge has become the primary resource and the most valuable factor of production.

The way you think and get results today is totally different from the way it might have been in the past. Today, you are paid for accomplishments, not activities.

Your highest paid, most important skill is your ability to think, both before you act and while you are acting. It is your ability to choose what is more important and what is less important.

Psychologists tell us that your level of self-esteem - how much you like and respect yourself - is the key measure of how happy you are in any area of your life.

Many thousands of successful people have been asked what they think about most of the time. The most common answer given by successful people is that they think about what they want - and how to get it - most of the time.

Clear goals enable you to step on the accelerator of your own life and race ahead rapidly toward achieving more of what you want in life.

A feeling of being "out of control" of your time is the major source of stress, anxiety, and depression. The better you can organize and control the critical events of your life, the better you will feel, moment to moment, the more energy you will have, the better you will sleep, and the more you will get done.

Very often, when you change your perspective, you see things differently, make different decisions, and get different results.

One of these common denominators was that the wealthy people in his research had developed the habit of always seeking the valuable lesson in every setback or difficulty. And they always found it.

The good news is that all habits are learned through practice and repetition. You can learn any habit you consider either necessary or desirable.

The fact is that good habits are hard to form but easy to live with. Bad habits, on the other hand, are easy to form but hard to live with. In either case, you develop either good or bad habits as the result of your repeated choices, decisions, and behaviors.

You can be, have and do more than perhaps you have ever imagined. All you need to do is to learn how, and then put what you learn into action.

The habit of setting priorities, overcoming procrastination, and getting on with your most important task is a mental and physical skill.

The more you seek security, the less of it you have. But the more you seek opportunity, the more likely it is that you will achieve the security that you desire.

Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?'

All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

The more credit you give away, the more will come back to you. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you.

Your decision to be, have and do something out of ordinary entails facing difficulties that are out of the ordinary as well. Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else.

Those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their work and to their lives will be the movers and shakers in our society for the indefinite future.

You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.

Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance.

It doesn't matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going.

I've found that luck is quite predictable. If you want more luck, take more chances. Be more active. Show up more often.
