Today, motivation is in our pockets. Whenever you feel low, you can take your mobile and start watching motivational videos.

I used to watch tons of motivational videos every day to feel inspired. I know motivation is like a shower, we have to take it every day. On the other side, motivational videos are addictive and wasted my precious time.

Once, I start one motivational video, I am addicted to clicking on the all other videos from the recommendation. I have to admit that motivational videos are powerful and inspire us a lot.

However, inspiration comes from motivational videos that stay until 2 to 3 hours after watching them. I worked hard only for some time once I finished watching the video. After some time, I became like I have no energy to do anything.

I made a habit of watching motivational videos every day and believe me, it wasted my time and energy. So, I finally decided to stop watching videos and start working.

I started making a timetable for the next day. So, I have a clear idea of what is the work I need to finish the next day. Once, I have a clear thought of my day working hard and removing YouTube from my mobile screen.

I follow this timetable for 21 days and I saw a big improvement in my work. I became more productive and I was able to finish all my schedule at the right time.

How working benefits me more than watching a video?

When I finished my work in the meantime, it gives me a sense of inspiration to keep going on.

I became more encouraged after finish my work rather than watching motivational videos.

I started thinking that if I can finish this much work in less time, I can do more and more.

To be successful, motivation alone is not enough. You need to work hard and become more productive. Motivational videos might inspire you, but it will not make your more productive.

You can be more productive, by working every day not just by listening to motivational videos. I know you all have spent so many evenings watching some random motivational videos to define your failures.

But, hey hold on. You don’t need to define your failures. Failures are part of life and they do not need any explanation.

Believe that you can do it is the only way to keep going.

Time waits for no one. It’s our choice whether we want to live the time or just waste it.

We all should be afraid of being stagnant. It’s time to switch off your phone and start working. You have already wasted your time, therefore now is the time to work on yourself and reach your goals.

Don’t make any excuses that you are not inspired, you are full of inspiration you just need to do hard work because hard work always pays off.

Your problems will not be solved by watching any motivational videos. To solve your problem, you have to work hard and need to get the solution.

Remember, watching a motivational video is a temporary solution, working hard everyday can oy make a difference.

Most of the motivational videos will tell you to wake up and hustle. Do your work and don’t make an excuse and so on.

However, what we are doing. We are lying on bed and listening to the things that we already know.

Why we need to hear the same words again and again when we can actually utilize that time to do some work.

Small starts and consistent progress are how we actually achieve our goals. But of course, that isn’t as romantic. Discipline is rarely romantic. But it works.

Be kind to yourself and work. I am not telling you to work 24 hours but start working at least. Be consistent with whatever you are doing and then only you can see the difference.

In conclusion, I don’t want you to just completely stop watching motivational videos. I just want that use it wisely. Don’t waste your every day watching it. Watch when you really need a boost but don’t make it a habit. It will not be going to help you in any way. So, work hard and believe in yourself and the rest will take care of you.
