Do these things if you ever feel like quitting

Do not quit!

There will almost certainly be times when you want to give up on your development, pursuit of a dream, or achievement of a goal while you are making an effort.

When you're depressed, your main goal is to get happier. A decision between leaving your job and obtaining a promotion may be required of you. It's possible that you'd like to make additional money in a different way. You may want to return to college or seek to strengthen your personal ties with someone near by. However, not everything will go your way, and it is at these times that you will feel the need to give up.

It is a necessary element of the process of moving forward from where you are now at in terms of your physical, mental, emotional, and financial well. When you push yourself farther, you are developing, learning, and growing as a person. And it will be painful at times.

Those feelings of frustration, disappointment, and failure are normal parts of the growth process. Their occurrence occurs when you are trying to do something that you have never done before. Exasperation, being let down, or the feeling that you don't have what it takes are all natural emotions to experience.

When you first start learning how to play tennis, for example, you are most likely not very good at it. You'll make some excellent shots, and you'll make lots of bad ones as well. Even if you are blessed with a certain amount of beginner's luck, it will not last long. In order to succeed as a beginner in the game, you must learn to accept being "bad."

Then you make your way forward. It takes a few of games for you to start hitting stronger strokes, but after a few games your backhand and forehand improve, and your serves seem to be operating at a level they haven't reached previously. That is when you may experience a plateau – or, even worse, you may seem to be regressing – in your performance.

This is the point at which the majority of people decide to stop playing tennis. However, it is not just a game of tennis. Once they achieve a certain level of success, these people are prone to giving up on practically everything. In the process, they give up on their attempts to get a new job, improve their relationships, or finish just about everything.

But if you persevere and improve your skills via courses, practice, and the adoption of new techniques, you will break through your impasse and resume your upward trajectory.

Take a psychological step back from what you're doing: clear your thoughts of all the "noise" that has accumulated. Work on putting a halt to thoughts of leaving and all of the justifications that come with that line of thought. You'll go back to whatever it is that you consider important. However, for a period of time, refrain from overthinking.

Keep in mind that it is just temporary. Recognize that if you remain determined, you will be able to weather the storm of uncertainty. Recognize that this is a natural part of the developmental process. When we have a strong desire to give up for whatever reason, we may begin to doubt the validity of what we are doing.

Furthermore, determine what you need to understand in order to keep moving forward. This is a normal part of the procedure, and it will most likely not be noticeable at first. You will have to go deep inside yourself to discover what you need to do to better yourself, and then you will have to keep working towards your goal.
