Life is the collection of physical and mental events that make up an individual's existence. The majority of these encounters are positive, but some are negative. However, how we deal with them both will decide our level of joy and satisfaction. Our attitude determines our height at all times. So, how can we overcome adversity when it comes our way?

Everyone has the ability to overcome adversity. We see that on a daily basis. However, you must first decide to do so. You will remain precisely where you are if you do not make that option. Your own story is written by you.

We've all made decisions we wish we hadn't made. However, the beauty of history is that it does not have to define us. The only way to fully rise above your tragedy is to examine your past, learn from it, make any necessary corrections, and then let it go. We all come with baggage. Every one of us has a history. But, thanks to support from others, we all have the power to let go.

Forgiving someone who doesn't even realize they need to be forgiven might be part of letting go. However, if you have a grudge against that person, you must forgive them - not for them, but for you.

Learning to not feel offended all of the time may be part of letting go. Many people will not be able to grow with you. Even if you have let go of your past, they may bring it up again. Choose not to be swayed by their opinions. It's all about you and becoming a better version of yourself. Not everyone is prepared to accompany you on your adventure.

This is something we must do on a regular basis — and for good cause. If you make adjustments in your life but don't align your thinking, you'll find yourself right back where you started.

Do not be frightened to converse with yourself. Remind yourself of God's opinion of you and how amazing of a person you are. Recognize your weaknesses and attempt to improve them. Without a regular renewal of your mind and thoughts, you will never be able to rise beyond your tragedy. Concentrate on your assets.

Also, you're fantastic! You are not a victim; you have triumphed! However, you must believe you are. When the victim mindset rears its ugly head, you must shake it off. Having a positive mindset is the only approach to overcome your tragedy.

If you have a pessimistic approach to everything, you'll never believe good things will happen, which means they won't. Would you prefer to be around someone who is negative or someone who is positive?

You have complete control over what you allow into your life. You can be working with someone who is really pessimistic. It's not about quitting your job; it's just about refusing to let anyone's harsh words penetrate your inner self. Respect them, go away when you can, and think nice thoughts about them. You will be triumphant if you do so.

We all have to deal with adversity at some point in our lives. It is an inevitable aspect of existence. Some of them are the result of our own actions. Things just happen at other times. Everyone is in possession of something. Our success, however, is determined by how we cope with our "something."

You must make the decision to soar above. You must resolve not to be discouraged by it. You must decide that it is only a page — or at most a chapter – in the epic bestseller you are working on. You and only you will be able to choose how you will respond to any adversity that life may throw your way. Rise!
