Advising is not motivation every time

Advise wisely!

Advice. It's ideal for that troubled individual in your life who is constantly making poor choices. We can see the problem and have the ideal answer, no matter what they're doing or who they are. Right?

We definitely believe this because we are disseminating our grand strategy left and right, but we may be causing more harm than good at times. Unsolicited advice, no matter how well-intentioned, is frequently unwelcome. It's sometimes more about our needs than it is about the needs of others. Before we stand up in front of others, there are a few things we should think about.

It's one thing to have a conversation, but it's quite another to give out advice that you should be following yourself. That's a sensitive subject. We all have problems to work on, and we're doing our best to deal with them the way we see fit, but commenting on someone else's baggage while carrying our own can make us appear superior.

In the midst of things, no matter how much we know, we're bound to forget our own sensible advice. We must realize that we are all hypocrites in some fashion, therefore we must abandon our lip-flapping in order to devote more time to listening and contemplation.

People need to be supported, believed in, and lifted up. You may think you're accomplishing this by giving advice, but consider what the other person is hearing. You are instructing them on what they should do and how they should accomplish it. That implies not only that they lack the ability to see it, but also that they lack the necessary skills to carry it out. We give counsel to show support, but the greatest method for us to demonstrate support is to assist someone in addressing problems on their own.

We all want to be successful in life, yet many of us are unaware of our own abilities. We believe we have limits, and we won't know what we're capable of unless we go past them.

Also, we think we understand what's going on, but there's a lot we don't. For starters, many of us overlook the nuances by failing to look under the surface. We hear the fundamentals and instantly begin to make assumptions, generalize, and provide advice.

Thoughts and insights based on our personal experiences. While our tales may resemble one other in some ways, there are almost certainly 100 times more differences than similarities.

We want to assume we know what's going on and why, yet we nearly never have a complete understanding of a situation. Hundreds of people, events, and circumstances have an impact on hundreds of other people, events, and circumstances.

As a result, we will never know what is going on within someone's mind. When it comes down to it, the reality is really a question of perspective, depending on the subconscious ideas we've formed as a result of our previous experiences.

It's far more aggravating than beneficial to give advice on anything when we're lacking hundreds, thousands, or even millions of pieces of useful information.

There's no denying that hearing the wisdom of another's experience can save us time, effort, and heartache, but it doesn't always cut it. Anyone who is going through a difficult moment is experiencing an equally difficult condition of mind and emotions. We can give them all the counsel we want, but as long as they're unhappy, our words will likely go unheeded.

Our decisions are influenced by our actions, which are influenced by our emotions and mental state. If you look under the surface of any person's terrible decisions, you'll find someone who is anxious to be supported, appreciated, and understood.
