Daily Dose Of Inspiration

In life we always are trying to be bigger and better than the next person due to society telling us how that's how it's supposed to be.

If you aren't using the latest and greatest technology, driving the updated version of your car or wearing the top brands you're not good enough in the societies eyes and that you're not where you're meant to be and that you must keep striving for more but wait ...while trying to either beat yourself up because of the stigma of societal norms or killing yourself trying to live up to what others think you should do or have, there is one question you need to stop and ask yourself. Are you happy? Truly happy?

Will I be happy once I achieve the end goal? Not every single person out of the billions of people in this world are supposed to be rich, not everyone is supposed to be a doctor or a lawyer or to be the person we watch on television. What would we do without the cashier at the grocery store or the clerk at the gas station. What about the attendant at the gym or the person taking your order at your favorite fast food restaurant? If you are one of these people then good for you! If you are happy then don't let anyone tell you that your position in life is just mediocre! We need you doing your job everyday, it's what makes the world go around!

Now, if your ambition takes you to a new place in life where you'll be happier then by all means further your life but if you're doing okay and you are happy then don't ever let anyone point their finger at you saying you should be doing this or that.

This is your life and life is about being happy. At this very moment in time you are precisely where you are meant to be on your path in life. Each of our paths have many twists and turns and who knows where you'll end up but just know that your path is divinely planned out. Each step you take. If you're the clerk at the gas station and people keep dismissing you because of the position you hold then so be it, let them they don’t know who you've touched while working there. What about the elderly man who's lost his wife and now comes there for his morning coffee and your conversation puts a smile on his face and yours?

Many times we are directly put in places to help others and maybe it doesn't mean much to anyone else but I guarantee that man is thankful for you, working there each morning to relieve some of his loneliness.

Each job in this world has meaning and don't ever think of yourself in a demeaning way just because you're not cashing a million dollar check. Who really is these days?

Look at the people pushing you...is it in the context that they are trying to help you or just look down at your so called menial job? Now look at them...their life, their circumstances. Are they happy or just trying to interfere in your life because they are so miserable in theirs and misery loves company? So many factors go into your life that are done behind the scenes. You are placed in certain places along your journey on purpose. Never let anyone take you from your own walk in life.

In this very moment, no matter whether you are a factory worker, a janitor or the smiling face we see when we pull up to get our beloved coffee, your job matters, you matter, you are doing exactly what you're meant to be doing.

People should appreciate you even more than the actor on television that we watch when there is nothing better to do. In this big ole world where it seems that you are just a speck in the ocean you are a much needed spark in the integrated part of humanity. What you do is never who you are but remember that whatever you're doing today, tomorrow and next year as long as you're happy, that is always more than enough!!
