Welcome back.

Congratulations! You are making a conscientious choice to change yourself. We sometimes forget that we are not required to continue on in the status quo; so many people never even attempt change because they don’t believe that it is possible. You on the other hand have stepped out of the paradigm and have realized that you are not stuck. You are awakening and know that if anything is going to happen it is your responsibility to create it.

Let us begin; it’s time to Choose Your Life!

For most of us these past 9 months have brought about changes that we could have never anticipated, many are jobless, have lost loved ones or are facing circumstances that have flipped your world upside down. Many feel lost, confused, and uncertain how to proceed. Even though you are surrounded by fear and negativity, this could be the perfect time to take a closer look at your life, this time could prove to be an opportunity. When one door closes another will open. Take a moment to step out of your fear and look closely at what has happened and what changes you can make that will help you move towards that new door of opportunity.

Please ask yourself these three questions; What do you really want to be doing with your life? Are you living a life that makes you happy? Do you want to return to the life you had pre-Covid-19? Before you answer the last question, seriously think about the first two, remember, it’s just you here, no one else needs to know your answers so be truthful with yourself. Keep your thoughts positive, you’re creating a blueprint for a new more joyful life. Now, if you could change your life what would you do?

There you go, you have started the process. Your thoughts have put the Universe on notice that you are ready to start your journey to a new more joyful life.

I’m going to list 5 things here that can move you towards that new door of opportunity and start the process of change. These are going to have you digging deep, taking a hard look at who you are and making hard decisions that will bring positive changes to your life.

First: Take responsibility for your own actions. Your life is what it is because your thoughts and actions have created it; no one can fix it but you. Once you realize that and accept your role in your life the sooner you will be able to change it. You are who you are because of the choices that you made. Start making better choices and be responsible for who you are and where you are in life! There really is no blame or fault just misunderstanding in how life should be accomplished. You are in control of your life; you can guide it to perfection!

Second: Adjust your Attitude. No one owes you anything, get over yourself! You alone are responsible for creating your life, all of it! Remember it’s not all about you, don’t take everything personally. You are responsible for creating your life, other people’s actions should not affect that, and you should not depend on anyone else for your happiness, not your spouse, your boss, your friends, your government, your children. They cannot make your life perfect, only you can do that. So, change your attitude and stop expecting or blaming others for your life. It’s all up to you. Take charge and feel the power of being an individual in a society that expects and encourages sameness! You have to come to grips with fact that you are completely responsible for who you are and what your life is all about. Once you do that then the avenues will all start to open for you. It’s important to note that being an individual and speaking your truth is not a license for being mean, vindictive, spiteful or conceded. It’s about loving yourself and projecting that feeling towards everyone else. We are all one, our souls all originated from the same place, the same Creator and we will return there in the end. Let go of the fear and negativity and know that what we do to and for ourselves we do to and for others. An attitude of entitlement keeps us from our true purpose, Joy.

Third: Break the cycle of negativity. If you live in a world of I can’t, don’t, no, not, and won’t, then you will remain stuck. A negative outlook is a self-fulfilling prophecy, what you send out returns three-fold. If you continually live in a negative mindset it is very hard to experience anything but negativity. This is a deep subject that I could spend days on but for today we are going to start simple. Think before you speak. Be careful in what you say, the spoken word is a very powerful tool. Work on positive verbalization. When you have a negative thought or feel the need to react or retaliate, don’t, take a moment to analyze why you have that thought, is it fear based, is it just a habit? Change that thought to one that is kind & positive and then think of something in your life that you are grateful for. Just thinking of your children, your Love, your garden, your dog will cheer you up. That starts the positive process. Then take the negative thought and put a positive spin on it; it’s not as hard as it sounds. There’s usually a silver lining in all of our negative thoughts. Like; “Dang, it’s going to rain today, it’ll be so dreary!” Change that to; “Rain! Great, we need the moisture; my flowers are going to be so happy!” See? Easy as that! It will take a little time to adjust your thought process, you will really have to pay attention to what you are thinking. In time you will be looking at things in a different light, a more positive light. This is a simple next step in adjusting your attitude. Thoughts and words, use them in a positive manner.

Fourth: Believe that you can achieve anything! There are no limits on what you can achieve in life; you are a creator; you are part of the Divine and are here on this Earth to live a life of Joy. Trust your feelings to guide you, listen to the little voice in your head, that’s God talking, learn to trust your feelings and your achievements will astound you! This brings to mind a saying that I have based most of my life on; What the mind can conceive, and the heart can believe then I know I can achieve. Let go of the Fear. Listen to your feelings and your heart; nothing will be out of your reach!

Fifth: Believe in something. I speak a lot about the Divine, God, The Source, The Universe, I believe in that Entity. To make the best use of this information I hope you believe in something, a higher Power who listens, consoles, and never judges. One who stands by your side offering encouragement and love. I believe that this life is just one step on the road to perfection and knowing I have a co-pilot who loves me makes it a lot easier.

I know that these ideas will take a while to process and I hope they will be helpful in starting the journey of making positive progress in your life. Change is never easy, changing one’s mind is a process that takes hard work and dedication. You will do great!

Until next time….
