5 Ways to Cope with Mental Health!

Mental health is something everyone has to be aware of, not every issue showing its particular reason that you could see with your visual eyes.

A mental illness is a physical illness of the brain that causes disturbances in thinking, behavior, energy, or emotion that make it difficult to cope with the ordinary demands of life. Research is starting to uncover the complicated causes of these diseases which can include genetics, brain chemistry, brain structure, experiencing trauma, and/or having another medical condition, like heart disease. — Pinterest

some of us don't know where to go and where to talk to when we feel a certain feeling when this issue arises, there is still a lot of stigma about Mental Health, and the awareness of Mental Health itself is still minimal.

Being aware of Mental Health is one of the ways to understand not only to others but also to ourselves.

There are a couple of Mental Health Categories, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), Anger, mood disorders (such as depression or bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders (such as schizophrenia), eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, etc.

Lately, Depression and Anxiety are the most problems we as humans are facing,

According to the World Health Organization, 3.6 percent — or about 264 million individuals worldwide — have an anxiety disorder.

and over 300 million people are estimated to suffer from depression, equivalent to 4.4% of the world’s population.

like i have mentioned above, some of us don't know where to go and where to talk to when we feel the certain feeling when this issue arises, but we could try to cope with it and releases it slowly step by step in ways that we comfortable with.

Release it with ART

How ART could help us with coping and release our ‘bloated’ emotions?

withdrawing or painting or sculpting or dancing or making a song or singing, and any other types of other ART could help us to release the emotion that we feel that makes us overwhelmed, by pouring it into ART we could focus on the color, the voice, the visual that could make us feel better

Release it with MEDITATION

Meditation is a technique that are intended to encourage a heightened state of awareness and focused attention. Meditation is also a consciousness-changing technique that has been shown to have a wide number of benefits on psychological well-being, with Meditation we could try to be more mindful and be present, focusing on our intention and what we want and need

Release it with TRAVELING

Going out and traveling can have many benefits for both your mental and physical health. Exploring new places and immersing yourself in new cultures is mentally stimulating also having new experiences is always good for improving your brain function and boosting your mental health. Travel could reduce stress and can help the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Whether going to another country or going for a long/short weekend nearby your place or country, it also helps you to feel calm, Increasing your creativity, and improve your mindset and mindfulness

Release it with ‘ME TIME’

Having your time alone could help you to process the ‘bloated’ feeling you are having, with sleeping or taking a bath or do exercise like running, swimming or archery or golf, etc, or even talk to yourself in front of the mirror and tell yourself 3 to 5 magic words like “I am Strong, Independent, Smart, Kind, Wealthy” “I am my own self, i am the one who controls my self no one else, nothing else”, with saying those things to yourself could help you're under consciousness and help you to relief the feeling you have

Release it with DISCUSSION

I know it is hard to talk about this to others, we tend to think no one will understand, but truth be told, there will always be someone who will understand, follow your intuition your gut when you try to find who is that someone you could trust, talk to that person even tho its not about the ‘bloated’ feeling you have, slowly when you feel comfortable enough to talk about it you could talk to them and release all the pain you have and they will support you and listen and be there for you
