5 Tips to Make the Law of Attraction Work for You

We are all interested in the Law of Attraction, or how to get what we want out of life and make our dreams come true. Yet sometimes, it seems like this law seems to work in mysterious ways, or doesn’t seem to work at all! Luckily, there are some common mistakes that people tend to make when working with the Law of Attraction, so you can avoid these and use your powers of manifestation more successfully! Here are five tips to make the Law of Attraction work for you!

1) Let Go

When it comes to manifesting what you want, you have one main task—let go. Letting go is a difficult process because people don’t like to do it, says Juventino Buhler, author of The Secret Laws of Manifestation. It seems to them more natural or obvious to keep striving and trying. But with persistence and awareness, letting go can be done in stages. To get started and help let go of unhealthy patterns or negative feelings towards your goal, try acknowledging that it won’t be easy and that any change is initially hard on your emotions. 2) Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want

The universe works in mysterious ways. But so do you. So it’s helpful to look at what you want and not on what you don’t want. In fact, every time you don’t focus on what you want, your thoughts automatically go into manifestation default mode—you know, where your thoughts are triggered by whatever is around you at that moment? If it isn’t something positive or beneficial, then it doesn’t get your attention (and thus, stays invisible). So make sure when things aren't going well that you're able to acknowledge how fortunate and grateful you are for all things going well in your life!

3) Visualize

Visualization is a core part of manifestation. If you can see yourself achieving a goal, you are more likely to actually achieve it. In fact, if you aren’t able to picture yourself accomplishing your goals with clear, vivid detail in your mind, chances are you won’t reach them at all. So go ahead and imagine that you have already succeeded at reaching your goal—see yourself moving through space and time until you actually get there. It might sound silly, but it will work. Do it enough times and things will start happening! By visualizing ourselves reaching our goals we engage both our conscious (sight) and subconscious (feeling) mental processing systems in an act that is truly magical and powerful!

4) Believe in yourself

The great thing about believing in yourself is that it has real-world implications. If you believe you can achieve a goal, there’s nothing to stop you from getting it. When you believe you can do something, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t give it a shot—after all, what have you got to lose? On top of that, belief doesn’t require proof or evidence or any kind of quantifiable result; as such, its impact is far more subtle and therefore easier to use than other laws. In other words, if you believe hard enough in your ability to achieve success through attraction and then work toward those goals at all costs—and yes, your costs will be high—you can get anything under the sun.

5) Stop worrying about what may go wrong

The thing about worries is that they tend to come true. When you worry, it can cause anxiety and stress, which often leads to negative situations in your life. It's also just a bad way to spend your time—you'll find yourself preoccupied with all sorts of awful possibilities about things that haven't even happened yet! Be optimistic. The goal is not necessarily to be happy right now; it's to be hopeful and inspired by what could happen in your future. If you spend too much time thinking negatively, you won't be able to focus on your dreams or other positive outcomes because you're too busy stewing over past failures or present frustrations. Instead, try turning those anxious thoughts into hopes and dreams whenever possible—and turn them into something positive as soon as possible too. Focus on where you want to go, rather than where you've been.
