5 Things the Universe is Always Trying to Tell You

But You Don't Always Hear Them

By Lexi WhitePublished 6 years ago 3 min read

1. You Are Loved

We all sometimes feel as if we are alone, unloved, or unworthy- But God, Source, or the Universe disagrees. There is an unconditional love that is always present through Source (God, Universe, etc.). Every moment of every day, throughout everything we do - good or bad, we have access to that love. We just need to learn to silence our thoughts and look past our ego to open ourselves up to the voice of Source. This can be done by practicing meditation, mindfulness, and other methods of quieting our thoughts like yoga, taking a bath, driving, journaling, or listening to music.

2. You Create Your Own Reality

One of the governing laws of the Universe is the Law of Attraction. This law, simply put, means you get what you give. In more technical terms, you receive what you are a vibrational match to. Your thoughts control your vibration, sort-of like a radio dial. You can't be on station 102.9 and expect to hear 56.4. Meaning, you can't be thinking "I am worthless, I will never get this job, Nobody wants to work with me, etc." and then expect to get said job. Your thoughts = Your reality. As Abraham-Hicks said, "The law of attraction is most understood when you see yourself as a magnet getting more and more of the way you FEEL."

3. There Is A Reason You Are Here

We aren't born with an itinerary. There is no code, no rulebook, nor a map to life. Let's be honest - most of us have no idea why we are here, what we are doing, or even what the hell is going on most of the time. Life is rough, it has its ups and downs, and it is our job to push through them. As Teal Swan teaches, "So often we come into this life and look at this world as if it is broken and the question we keep asking ourselves is... "what does the world need?" We live our lives searching for the answer to this question and by doing this, we have it backwards. Instead, we need to ask ourselves what makes us come alive, and then... we need to have the courage to go do THAT. Because what the world needs, is this: people who have come alive."

4. You Are Worthy Of Everything You Desire

As extensions of Source, we are all worthy of everything we are and everything we have. We are a part of Source, so we own everything in a sense, since we are part of what created everything as we know it. "Everything you want is already yours. It belongs to you regardless of whether you realize it yet, or have manifested it yet. There is an inherent ownership of everything you have ever desired, do desire or will ever desire. The trick to manifesting what you want is to recognize that inherent ownership. The trick is to recognize that you do not deserve something, you 'own' it." - Teal Swan.

5. Your Happiness Is More Important Than Anything Else

When people ask you what you want in Life, what do you answer? Many people want money, fame, expensive cars, prestigious careers, vacations to exotic places, expensive jewelry, etc. These things are all very nice, but what is the deeper desire behind them? The answer is, and always will be Happiness. That is what fuels passion, motivates people to live, and is a very basic human need that is rarely met in our society. In Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, food and water are the most important aspects to human life. Spiritual teachers and some mental health professionals disagree. If a person is unhappy in Life, they often refuse to eat and refuse to drink because they lose the desire to care for themselves. This is why your happiness should be your #1 Priority over everything else in life. Put yourself first, think thoughts that make you feel good, do things that make you happy - no matter what anyone else thinks. You are number one.
