No matter what age you are working out is good for you! Whether you go to the gym or do it in your home it doesn't matter. I am a senior and I like to dance. It does not matter what music I put on the stereo I will dance to it. When I was young I went roller skating and ice-skating. I was happy doing those things and I was getting plenty of exercises. Today I do not do the things that I did when I was a teenager. But my love for music and dance will never leave me. I like all different music, even Opera is great to listen to and work out too. I also like classical music and show tunes. I do not like country music I prefer the oldies but goodies.

When I was a child life was different. If it was nice out I played outside. There were no computers to play games with. Today we have to tell children to stop playing on the computer and go out and play. Yes, today is a lot different than when I was a child. Children are not getting their exercise today because of computers. But it doesn't have to be that way! Grownups and children can work out together. Put on some music and do your thing. Having fun is the name of the game! Children will get their exercise and you will too. Therefore you and the children will lose a little weight. Most of all your body will love you for it


Yoga is for everyone who wants to learn it. There are many DVD'S that you can buy or free online. Yoga is an exercise you do not need a lot of money to do. All you need is a yoga mat you can buy one at any store. Yoga mats are not expensive it all depends on how much you want to spend. Once you learn Yoga you will benefit from doing this way of exercise. If Yoga is not for you then do a different exercise that you would like to do. Yoga is a good exercise for all ages and your body will get used to doing it. It is a workout one needs to do every day. Music is great to put on the stereo when you do Yoga. So try Yoga you would like to do it or maybe it is not for you.


Running is a great exercise and you don't have to spend money to do it. All you need is a good pair of sneakers. Or if you're on the beach you do not have to wear shoes! Or you can walk and run you are still getting your exercise and doing what you want to do! I would rather be at the beach and run rather than on the pavement. If you have earphones you can run using them to music. Many people want to run in a Marathon but if you rather not that is ok too. The right to work out is your preference and sometimes it is wise if you check with your doctor. When you do work out you should not overdo it. There are many other ways one can work out and that is Walking and Hiking.


Hiking and walking is another great way to get a workout. There is nothing better than to go for a hike in the summer. A hike on a nature trail is a great way to see nature. Many people prefer this way of exercising to other ways of getting their bodies in shape. On a nice day, it is great to get out of town and hit the trails. I live in Alaska so in the summer there are many trails to hike on. Alaska summer there is sunlight most of the day and night. It does not matter what time you decide to go for a hike. You will have a good time hiking and maybe even seeing wildlife. Being outside is great that is if you take the necessary precautions. Like, bring a water bottle and a compass. if you happen to get lost. Usually, you will not get lost but it is better to be safe than sorry. Have a good time exploring the outdoors and a safe one too.
