Laughing is good for you, even doctors will tell you so.

Whether it's hanging out with family members or meeting new friends, happiness always feels good. Laughter is good, whether you are in the company of a friend, family member, or even a stranger.

The fact is that the more social a person is, the greater the positive connection with others, which leads to a more positive mental state.

Laughter creates a positive relationship between two people who influence each other, not only in the form of laughter but also in their psychological state.

Here are some reasons laughing is good for you:

Chemical Good Feels

Studies have shown that in this case, the body triggers the release of pleasure endorphins in the brain.

The central nervous system is a complex structure in human anatomy.When we laugh, we feel this release—a sort of natural high. All because of a little rush of endorphins.

Endorphins are also known to reduce the physical and mental pain that people can suffer from.

Some of the benefits of laughter include burning calories.

Yup, when you laugh, you are burning calories! We use muscles throughout the body as we laugh.

Our abdominal area, chest, shoulders, and face get a nice workout. Remember when you laughed so hard that your abs feel sore?

Laughter also has the ability to relax the whole body, and that is why you feel so good when it happens.

Studies show that after a good laugh, your body can feel relaxed up to forty-five minutes later, according to Mayo Clinic.

Laughter stimulates circulation and muscle relaxation, which can help reduce physical stress symptoms.

Reduces Pain

According to a study published by The Royal Society, laughter can reduce pain. It describes that, "on average, watching about 15 minutes of comedy in a group increased pain threshold by 10 percent."

It is a fact that many individuals who have had surgery are recommended resorting to laughter and a positive attitude to help them get through the pain better. Even weeks after surgery, it can be a powerful arsenal of tools for a healthy recovery.

Even if watching a funny comedy film with someone can have a big uplifting feeling that will help with a safe and stable recuperation.

Lowers Blood Pressure

It goes without saying that stress and anxiety are other factors that contribute to high blood pressure, heart disease, and other health problems.

Adverse conditions can arise from unhealthy lifestyles, but laughter (among many healthy habits) can be a positive tool in your arsenal.

When your body releases endorphins, your breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure rise slightly.

But after a few moments, you become more relaxed, thus lowering your blood pressure.

Having A Positive Mood

Stress is a significant problem, especially in the workplace. It can manifest itself in many ways and on many levels, but we all know what it feels.

It's great to have positive vibes around us—it has a big impact on how we feel internally. Even better, is we can be a force of positivity to others.

Laughing helps relieve anxiety and depression. By establishing consistent and long-term happiness via laughter, our natural state of mind will be a positive one.

Spending time with friends who make you laugh is another great way to source happiness. Just make sure to contribute to the collective feels with a few jokes or friendly laughs at your own expense.
