Do you know what the NUMBER ONE thing that all successful people have in common? When I say “successful”, who comes to mind?...Most likely you are thinking of folks like professional athletes, authors, motivational speakers, politicians, musical artists, and financiers just to name a few.

Again, what do they all have in common?...they have a set morning routine they do! I like to say Waking Habits Routine, but nonetheless, a routine that is done first thing when we wake. If you want to achieve something in life, you mirror what people do that have achieved that same thing before you.

Certainly, there is room for innovation, updating, and your own style…but there is a reason we collect literatures, math equations, and processes that are already benchmark practices. If a start-up company/person wants to break into an industry, they start by mirroring and emulating what the number one company/person in that industry does, then they form from there.

Again, a Waking Habits Routine is not a new thing nor is there only one regiment to follow, but there is something in common with having one…all the most successful people from the beginning of time have one. Something they do before they start their day.

So what is a Waking Habits Routine? I thought you would never ask! It is a dedicated routine or regiment that one follows first thing in the morning after waking and before one starts responding to the world (Oh, that’s because responding is all we humans do). Think about it…anyone in the successful professions mentioned, anyone with “normal” humble jobs, or even just when spending time with family & friends…you respond (proactively or reactively). You respond to the situation, circumstances, and people that you are involved with at that present time.

GEEZ!...how overwhelming and exhausting! No wonder there is so much burnout, the need to get away, and the feeling of struggle! We all know fulfillment is generated internally (not from any external source), so why don’t we spend more time to ourselves???…Well, we don’t have time to do that because we have to hurry and RESPOND TO THE WORLD!

Overwhelmed

SOLUTION!! A Waking Habits Routine allows for that much needed recharge before the day starts, that much needed me-time, that feeling of no rush, peace, and quiet. Over time of repeating this discipline (oh and this certainly builds a discipline in you), you reap the results 10-fold!

Just look at what the NUMBER ONE thing all successful people have in common. Why don’t you know about this then?...its the best kept secret because it is what’s sacred to them. It will be sacred to you as well! It’s fulfillment from your own self. We all know that freedom & peace come from fulfillment, and fulfillment comes from right action…and a little focused work.

What’s an example of a Waking Habits Routine? Well, in a nutshell, some people get up at a dedicated time every day and spend a certain amount of time to their routine. They might include all or some of the following: journaling, a quick read, breathing exercise, plan (the day/week/month/or trip), physical exercise, movement/stretch, meditation, sipping coffee/tea on your balcony still in PJs with a blanket, work on your personal projects, drink a healthy green smoothie, go for run, jog, or walk in nature all before their normal day starts. Or you can check my Waking Habits Routine here. I created it in the form of an interactive eBook that will help you develop your morning routine for 27 days!

This gets you a jump ahead of the day and mentally prepared for the grind of responding to the world. Trust me, I’ve been on both sides of the coin, and as soon as I adopted the Waking Habits I’ve seen others do, I was able to expand on mine. I am lightyears ahead of where I should be mentally, physically, financially, and most importantly, I gained more time to add in my life.

I hate the word “TRY”, so, here’s to finding your peace, more time, success, and fulfillment through starting your Waking Habits Routine!
