The Secret Diet—Shhhh...

Have you tried all the diets possible, worked out but with no effect? Or maybe you got caught in the trap of the diet aftermath THE YO-YO effect? Well, I've got something special for you ;)

To start off, I'll tell you a little bit about me and how I came across this "diet." But don't worry, it wont be too long—I wouldn't want to bore anybody.

I've always struggled with a chubby belly; that tire around your stomach, yes, that has accompanied me my whole teenage years. I looked at slim girls who ate twice the amount of what I would eat, and they stayed thin and slim and pretty; it made me feel insecure about my figure and myself when, to be honest it's not like I was a fat kid, I just wasn't a walking stick—BUT HEY, THAT'S SCHOOL LIFE FOR YA!

If you seen The Duff, you will know the feeling. (Even though the actress wasn't obese there, she still felt bad about herself as her friends where skinnier...)

Well, moving on, the older I got, I would try different diets, I would work out (which wouldn't last long, as I find it hard to stick to working out—I'm a lazy gal ;) )I would try things like things like cutting down sweets, eating more veg and fruit, and smaller portions, etc. NOTHING WORKED! I didn't see a change in my figure at all.

Now I'll tell you what I came across that changed all of that!! But before that note the following:

  • I was passionate about junk food, and crisps, and chocolate (especially when I started working , it was a form of eating away the stress and anxiety)
  • I live in a dull, cloudy, hardly-any-sun, all the time raining country (Ireland)—therefore you substitute happiness with food—YUP

OK, OK—NOW TO THE GOOD PART—YOU READY...

So it all started when I went to Poland—there, a friend recommended that me and my mum have this thing called Bioresonance done, because we where suffering from terrible migraines caused by sinus infections. For those who don't know what Bioresonance is, it's actually a very smart technique of treating people—I really do recommend it !

Now some a boring but educational paragraph about Bio Resonance :

What is Bioresonance Therapy?

  • Bioresonance is a form of holistic diagnosis and therapy. It is claimed that the bioresonance devices used in the therapy can read the energy wavelengths coming from cells within the body and that the frequencies of these wavelengths provide information about the health of the body.
  • Practitioners believe they can interpret the results obtained from the devices which can then be used to diagnose diseases or adverse medical conditions. Some practitioners also claim to use the results to treat the diagnosed conditions by using the same electromagnetic frequencies to create a “resonance” within the body’s cells

Important bit—

Functioning in ways similar to how adjacent guitar strings affect each other’s tone, electromagnetic waves are proven to be useful in diagnosing and treating human illness.

“Our Bodies…are electromagnetic machines. We simply can’t move a muscle or produce a thought without an electrical impulse—and wherever there is electricity, a magnetic field is also produced, which is why we link the two together into one word: Electromagnetic.”

WHAT DO THEY TREAT?

Good question-

This treatment basically finds what you are allergic to—it could be things you never knew about, and these things affect your body and how you feel. And then once they find the elements you're allergic to, they clear your body of them, and then you're given a list of things to avoid. (They also treat liver problems, asthma, snoring, allergies, and menopause, hormones... and more.)

The Bioresonance equipment

Okay, so what where my results?

After doing the very-weird-for-a-first-time test (Don't ask; research it yourself, ha ha), My results were:

  • NO Wheat
  • NO Yeast (No bread, alcohol, pizza, donuts, cake, etc. [by the way—yeast extract can be found in a lot of things that you wouldn't even think it would be in!!!])
  • NO Barley
  • NO Sugar (NO sweets, cakes, or ANYTHING SUGARY!!!)
  • NO Milk

Disclaimer: The doctor did tell me and my mum that bread and yeast are the two worst things you could eat—even the "healthy" bread you see in the shops. If you don't make it yourself, you don't know what goes in it, so you're basically feeding your body trash.

Next up is dairy, milk, and yogurt; all of that is highly unhealthy. That is NOT good for your body; you are safer eating NATURAL GREEK YOGURT, and check labels that they don't contain 'milk powder'.

So fast forward to my diet, what I eat, and how I feel now after about a month.

1. NO BREAD: So yeah, I don't eat any bread, hmmm... what about lunch at work? Well, that's where you have to get creative—I substituted bread with rice, veg, and fried eggs (what I found handy is using leftovers from your dinner and adding them to the rice). If you're craving something sweet, make a fruit salad or grab a peach and pack that! Very sweet and healthy!!!

2. DIET WITH SOMEONE, DON'T DO IT ALONE: Moreover, the fact that my mum had the same ban on what she could not eat made it easier to apply the diet! She started to look up gluten free bread recipes—if you're interested, I can make a new story about what recipes we used. Same goes for Pizza bases; a bit of research goes a long way.

3. TRY NEW FOODS: expand your horizon and try different foods, meaning from different cultures—for example, I made onigiri for one of my lunches. This is basically a sandwich that they eat in japan. Photo inserted below. Recipe might be coming soon!!!

4. NEXT TIP: is to look for the GLUTEN FREE sections in your local food store—go to the dairy/fridge section and look for those gluten free signs!

The taste of gluten free food does not differ (in my opinion) from the gluten and unhealthy foods!!!

5. NO MILK: I have substituted with soy milk because I personally enjoy the taste of it, but there's a list of what else you can try—oat milk, almond milk, goat's milk, coconut milk... You can also get yogurt that is soy based and lactose free!

SO HOW DO I FEEL/ WHAT HAS CHANGED ?

Before this diet (and test of what was wrong with me, hehe!) I would feel bloated and chubby in the tummy area—even when I ate the "healthy bread," I felt bad.

But now my stomach has gone down significantly; areas of my body like arm fat and double chin have also gone down in size. I don't feel sick or bloated and I feel more healthy!

IN CONCLUSION

I really recommend going gluten free, because it forces you to eat healthy. Moreover, if you stop eating SUGAR, SWEETS, and JUNK FOODS, it will highly influence you loosing weight, as those are the big factors in why we get cellulite and fat on our stomach, arms, thighs, butts, etc.

SO GO FOR IT GUYS! GET HEALTHY AND FEEL BETTER IN YOUR OWN BODY!!

Thanks for reading guys, please go easy on me and no hate, as this is my first story on Vocal.

I might post more stories on recipes for bread and other things to eat.
