THE FUNCTION OF ROSES

Roses are used in Umbanda to help heal physical and spiritual illnesses.

They are able to relieve pain when activated in smokers and essential oils, help to filter negative energy, fat eye and ward off the power of evil spells.

Roses have the power to re-establish positive energy in the place and in the person, to attract the energy of love and health.  they are used for cleaning, protection and unloading.

THE MEANING OF EVERY ROSE

RED ROSES

Red is the color of love and passion, so they are used in rituals to increase libido and sensuality. It is a highly stimulating color, so it is also used when you want to get rid of the low energy spirit power, discharging negative energies. Its energetic power is also used in baths against depression, it is indicated to perform this bath with red roses on the first crescent moon of the month.

WHITE ROSES

Are associated with peace and purity, so they are used in rituals that seek to harmonize the environment and search for inner peace. This color of roses also protects against negative energies, purifies negative feelings, stimulates forgiveness and compassion. The action of this pink color is so smooth that it can be used even in pregnant women, children and babies.

PINK ROSES

Are related to the energy of affection, affection and friendship, help in connecting with the inner divinity that lives in each of us and develops the feeling of self-love, passivity and humility. It is used in rituals where people need forgiveness, they need to forgive others and to recognize past mistakes.

YELLOW ROSES

Are indicated for rituals in which it is necessary to increase the joy in the environment, to bring lightness, well-being and the energy of prosperity. It is a pink color that elevates the mind and balances it, being widely used for processes of spiritual cleansing.

Those who have difficulty concentrating and need focus to pass tests and contests can also use the power of this pink color.

BLUE AND BLACK ROSES — RARE ROSES

These rose colors are rare, but they also have great powers in work at Umbanda. The blue rose is used to stop negative energies, ward off enemies and to close the body against spiritual threats.

The black rose is used for mooring work, to eliminate spells and purify the mood. It is also used in rituals to cure serious illnesses and as a discharger of positive energies — with power similar to that of coarse salt, but with an important advantage: it does not drag the positive energy along with the negative, being, therefore, more effect!

The forces of nature have a multitude of positive resources for our energetic, ritualistic, initiate and spiritual works. Understand a part of these forces it is to become a true Initiate and to act directly for the balance of our brothers.

It is common to see many people today learning to cook recipes with herbs and roses or even prescribing something, but they do not explain how nothing proceeds, and soon what we see are people who simply on any day, at any time or whatever, they arrive at a tree and leave pulling leaves, disorderly. Above all we must remember that nature is essential for leaves, roses and flowers to exist, therefore, we must take care of it as much as possible.

“It’s the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important… People have forgotten this truth, but you mustn’t forget it. You become responsible forever for what you’ve tamed. You’re responsible for your rose.”
