Prostatitis and hemorrhoids are two independent diseases. Prostatitis is a male disease. Its clinical manifestations mainly include frequent urination, urgency, incontinence, waiting for urination, bifurcation of urine, and other symptoms of urination discomfort, as well as signs of perineal, lower abdomen, bulge, and pain around the scrotum and testicles. It even has sexual dysfunction such as impotence and premature ejaculation.

Hemorrhoids are anal diseases, and their clinical manifestations are pain and discomfort in the anus, blood in the stool and prolapse of hemorrhoids from the anus.

So, the two diseases are completely two diseases of different systems.

Moreover, the etiology of the two diseases is also different. The infection of pathogenic bacteria mainly causes prostatitis due to poor living and eating habits. In contrast, hemorrhoids may be caused by prolonged sitting and standing for long periods, long-term constipation, etc.

Prostatitis can be divided into bacterial prostatitis and non-bacterial prostatitis. Hemorrhoids are a common disease in both men and women. Hemorrhoids are only susceptible to infection when they rupture.

However, the location of hemorrhoids is close to the rectum and prostate. If you have two diseases at the same time, the symptoms of the prostate may interfere with the hemorrhoids, thereby increasing the pain and swelling of the anus.

From the definition of the two, other pathogenic factors, clinical manifestations, and diagnostic criteria are very different. Of course, if the symptoms of hemorrhoids are severe, they can also be treated with surgery. The treatment of these two diseases is also different in many aspects. Therefore, there are certain differences between hemorrhoids and prostatitis; of course, they are also closely related.

There is also a specific correlation between the two. Because pelvic vascular diseases cause hemorrhoids and prostatitis, there are innumerable connections between pelvic blood vessels. There is also a certain mutual influence and interaction between them. Topical physical therapy can be used to relieve symptoms in both conditions.

A patient with hemorrhoids will affect the prostate through the pelvic veins, resulting in prostatitis. At the same time, when the patient treats hemorrhoids, the symptoms of prostatitis can also be relieved by drugs, which also show a specific connection between the two, so hemorrhoids may cause prostatitis.

Sometimes hemorrhoids are also caused by prostatitis because prostatitis is caused by some symptoms of urination, such as insufficiency of urination and excess urination. After this happens, the patient needs to increase abdominal pressure every time they urinate. Abdominal pressure increases due to prolonged abdominal pressure. After the increase in abdominal pressure, blood flow obstruction will occur, resulting in rectal vein congestion, which will expand to form hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are a pathological change thrombosis or displacement of a pelvic vein, so sometimes hemorrhoids caused by the prostate are also seen clinically.

How should patients be treated when prostatitis and hemorrhoids occur?

For chronic prostatitis patients who need to adhere to drug treatment, patients can choose Diuretic Anti-inflammatory Pill, which has the main functions of clearing away heat and detoxification, promoting blood circulation, and relieving pain, diuresis, and dredging stranguria. It can play the role of sterilization, anti-inflammatory, and swelling. And it will not produce drug resistance. From the clinical point of view, Diuretic Anti-inflammatory Pill can be effective in treating chronic prostatitis.

For the treatment of hemorrhoids, the most appropriate drug should be selected according to the individual situation under the guidance of a doctor. It is also necessary to observe whether the hemorrhoids fall off. If the hemorrhoids fall off, surgery is required. For asymptomatic hemorrhoids, there is no need to use drugs and surgery for treatment, mainly to improve living habits.

Patients with prostatitis and hemorrhoids should pay attention to developing good living habits in daily life, adjusting a reasonable diet structure, and strengthening exercise to improve physical fitness and enhance their resistance.
