The Concept of Emotion

Understanding our emotion along with others

I breathe with anticipation. The moment arises. I give myself a quick pep talk. "Do I need any preparations, or should I try something?" Every flight I go up, I try to put myself in the mindset. I am not questioning my intentions but the scenarios in which to start.
I check my phone, 9:50 pm. I take a breath as I reach another flight. "13" I wonder what I would see when I get there.

Emotions are very complex. At any time & regardless of reaction, any reaction will suffice. What we think and how feel builds to the people we become. We become wiser & therefore understand our hardships & prepare for new ones.
Emotions are a driving force behind motivation regardless of their validity.

Toxic emotions can corrupt. The feeling of disrespect & sadness follows as the emotions elevated and take fold. Unknown to the results of such negative emotions lead to adverse outcomes. It's important to acknowledge these thoughts before the action happens. Actions lead to regret and accidents, as well as heartbreak. In this case, negative emotions are used as weapons to share the pain. Pain reminds us of what is real and what isn’t. Finding peace inside of the pain gives clarity & tranquility.

Our emotions lead to many interactions and actions that can result in regret and misunderstandings. Not everything said could be misinterpreted as it is face value. With friends, there can be a language that transmitted with each other that not understood by those surrounding.
Dreams, for example, are mental imagery in our sub-conscience that dictates our more profound thoughts & understanding of who we are to its core.

In fantasies, everything is never as it seems because it's not. Our dreams tell us what's right & what is pure. With that, we have the opportunity to decipher what it means & whether or not to use the information given.
Calm emotions typically resemble peace of mind. This mental state gives freedom from external as well as internal qualms.

Being in a quiet state allows for things like meditation and tranquility to occur. Thus, unlock the potential of a less stressful persona.
Emotions can overcome people like a poison & blind them with rage resulting in an unintended mess. Due to this, it's paramount to adopt coping mechanisms to disperse negativity while using courage to emerge victoriously.
Communication works well with emotions.

Emotions (having many faces) have no guide. Whether it's a raw emotion or a reaction from a trigger point, we can be a slave to how we feel, which closes us off to the reality of what's happening. A cook could get mad at a chef for burning a stew but not intentionally want to fire them because they're a student.

Communication leads to a better understanding & realization that methods taken are ways to grow character & builds mental strength. This isn't always the case, it's essential to check in with ourselves & see what we are feeling is a result of how a triggered reaction or something more internal.

Happy emotions, for the most part, are more natural. It takes less energy to smile than it does to express a sad feeling. Laughter goes aside with happiness because most of it is automatic. Something that reminds you of a happy time or something that you could look back on and laugh because you saw something that you didn't before.

Generally, emotions are not causal forces. Emotions can be identified by how we interpret & acknowledge our own emotions while growing from them to be better individuals. As people we grow & learn from emotions & reactions.

How we interpret & understand emotion impacts our character & who we become as people. Having something as a guide like kindness & happiness helps to see a future where we can be ourselves in a peaceful glow. Living vicariously through positivity guides us through the world of uncertainty & misunderstandings.
