The Auspicious Moon Child ❄️

Sleeping Beauty of the Himalayas 🐵🐒🐒🐒🐒🐵

It was a Majestic Castle located on the top of the Himalayan Mountains that was almost always covered with snow. Prince Phillip had existed their with his Princess Aurora ever since his parents, the Snow King and Queen to the throne had mysteriously vanished. He didn’t have time to ponder about their whereabouts with the weather a frigate cold, and the Princess had drifted off into a deep sleep that he desperately needed to address. When consulting his dwarfs he decided on building a special bed chamber made of Himalayan salt stone in order to preserve her in a semi cryogenic freeze. Days went by as she would not wake up, and so the salt crystalline bed was built. Setting her frail body inside, he tried kissing her but to no avail. Roses were arranged around the sarcophagus while in her hand a single Rose was placed. One last look at her light breathing made the Prince emotional as he closed the frosted cover that preserved her body from the drafting wind of the Himalayan winter. The last memory he had of his parents was when they were in the garden as they were collecting lush fruits for the fall harvest. The sun was low in the sky when he heard a loud sound from above. Almost certain it was a Omni the bright lights obscured his vision while he felt they had been taken with the smoke filled clouds. It was puzzling why they took them and not himself. He searched for days, the days becoming weeks, then years slipped by. Then Aurora fell ill into a strange sleep that had stopped her from having children. He desperately wanted a family and so he set out to find a healer who could help. He had a way of getting down from the mountain by having a elevator built that plunged 500 miles to the base of the kush mountain where a nearby town provided food and supplies. The elevator was for Royalty only and was well guarded. The elevator ride took a few hours where sleeping while slowly descending was the quickest way to pass the time. He didn’t wear his Jeweled crown when venturing into town, as he dressed like a commoner wearing a turban. He wondered if his Princess became ill from the elevator as she suffered from motion sickness and only had rode it a few times. Finding the pharmacy by foot he held a basket for the goods he would buy. Herbs, mushrooms & rare ointments he fancied as he had tried so many remedies to bring Aurora out of her spell, but with dismay. Have you tried smelling salts? The old Hindu practitioner hinted. Dear Abdullah, She is lying in a sarcophagus made of Himalayan salt, how much more salt would awaken my Beauty? I have heard the story of her sleeping, while I know no remedy for this, He said while instructing his pet monkey to put away some medicine bottles. The monkey climbed up the shelves that had special dividers for him to step. It was a genius idea since the shelves were stacked so high one would need a ladder. Have you tried asking at the temple, maybe a swami could think of something. I’ve had many prayers of veneration where an entire Ashram led by the most deviant Sages attempted to levitate her sleeping body, but failed after the load stones placed around her had too low of a magnetism. Oh Heavens, that must be troubling, and the disappearance of your parents is most alarming! I would like to think of them as Ascended to Gaya.. As they were conversing a distraught looking child walked in. His head shaven wearing only a shirt with bare feet. He looked around as if searching for something, his eyes like dark aliens. Oh it’s a moon child, there seems to be more of them wandering through the town..Shree, I don’t understand, what is a Moonchild? The name given to them since they have no way of speaking or known whereabouts. The child stretched out his arm pointing to a jar of Tamarind. Hanuman..would you be a good boy & fetch the Tamarind ..Pet monkey climbed to retrieve the jar. He grinned a curry yellow smile as he liked to eat curry sweets. Oh Hanuman! Must you always eat my curry peanuts! Abdullah handed the tamarind to the child. He in turn paid him in gold coins. Where do you think he obtained the gold? I’ve heard they live in the underworld, so he might pan it in a underground river. Abdullah said brushing his mush dash while studying the boy. He wears no clothes, but a shirt, no shoes, it’s awfully strange. What can you do? Abdullah shrugged. Prince Phillip bent down to address the being, Young man, would you like to come with me where I can give you decent clothes and a place to stay? The child looked down at his bare feet, ashamed of having nothing. He looked up at Phillip and nodded his head saying yes. He took his small hand in his as the two became friends. I think you’ve found yourself a new friend. Maybe he can help you get your mind off of your heavy burden. Maybe it’s just the thing I needed, I shall see fit he gets better treatment. Good day shop owner..The sun was beginning to set as the Prince led the child to the hidden elevator in the rock formation. The doors opened as if the mountain opened while the child was not frightened. Going inside the shaft seemed extra terrestrial with the bald child who sat in the elevator seat as if it were a carnival ride. Going upwards took a few hours where the seat could fold into a bed, as sleep was easy for the mysterious child. Arriving at the Castle at daybreak the boy could see the glittering Castle in the misty horizon. Once inside he explored the many rooms looking through giant windows that held a spectacular view of the painted cliffs of the mountain ranges. He was given his own room where clothes were made by his sewing ladies that fit elegantly along with shoes tailored to his size. It pleased the Prince to do so and yet his heart still longed for a cure for his beloved. One day as the Prince was in the library looking for a proper name for the child, he heard a sound coming from the Princesses bed chamber. Quickly running to render, he found to his astonishment the moon child standing over the sarcophagus singing a high pitched arrangement of vocal chords that distressed the young Prince. The sound was so alarming that he stood frozen from the ear piercing high frequency. He watched as the child put his hand upon the frosted dome as if he felt a presence inside. The dome came down revealing the sleeping Princess as the boy sang so high it shattered the glass she lye upon. And then, she woke up, her eyes blinking, red lips smiling..The moon child had done what not even a Sage could do.. Awaken his Sleeping beauty. The boy grew silent as he had exhausted himself with the singing exorcism..The Prince was overwhelmed at the sight of his true love awakened and revived. Her complexion became rosy as she hugged the Prince in a new light. She hugged the boy as well with the realization that he had returned her life. The three stepped outside with the wind whispering at the high altitude. The boy ran out to the stone balcony edge and sung again, this time to the clouds as if he were part of them. A bright light returned, bringing the lost King & Queen appearing in the midst. The Prince couldn’t believe his eyes, he had his family back. While they were re uniting the gifted boy walked over to where a craft was landed in the fog. He knew inside was his mother, he felt her calling him..And then he too vanished as the Royal family wondered where he had gone.. When the fog lifted their was only the jar of sugar tamarind sitting on the ledge..Today when people experience a sighting they celebrate with the eating of tamarind on the holiday of Diwali the Festival of Lights that defeats over darkness. And so the story ends.
