Cough Drops that Will Actually Soothe Your Sore Throat
I woke up this morning with a sore throat. I've decided that I'm either sick (my brother is sick) or it's the air quality with all these wildfires going on. As most people do when they're sick, I whined to my mother. My grandma joined in and said she had gotten a box of Lumen'swatermelon cough drops from Family Health Services. Then I realized, when have watermelon flavored cough drops ever helped with a sore throat?

Lush Products: My Least Favorite!
I have purchased many different Lush items over the years. All opinions are that of my own based on personal experience. I bought all of these items with my own money. This brand is really hit or miss for me. Some items I absolutely love, where others not so much. Make sure to check out my other article with my favorite Lush Products.

Lush Products: My Favorites!
Lush is a cruelty-free, 100% vegetarian brand of bath and body products. They are based in the UK and make natural products by hand with love. Lush is an earth friendly brand. Many of their items are packaged in black plastic pots. Once you have five empty black pots, they can be brought back to the store and exchanged for a free fresh face mask. I think it is wonderful that they reuse their old containers and will give their customers a free face mask for bringing back empty containers for them to recycle.

The Summer Top Up Sale
Keep some moisturising cream on hand for those hot summer days in the sun. The best place to buy it: The Body Shop. I did some research to determine how much I saved on my fine luxury items that I had bought in The Body Shop summer sale; I had to do a bit of maths to know what the percentage was of each product, I do have to point out that I did have to use a calculator to work it out. Never got on with maths in the first place; plus the receipt didn't really have much of the original price on it, so I had to look it up for starters.

Best Apps to Help You Sleep Better
Some people will do anything to sleep, myself included. From natural remedies and oils to meditation and medication, there are hundreds of options promising sleep but delivering very little. So, it only makes sense with the plethora of technology and information today that people are now using apps to help them get the zzz’s they need. I mean let’s be honest, if you can track your movement, weight, and food intake while finding love through social media, then you should be able to use your phone or tablet to assist you with sleeping.

Read, Talk, Then... Write
I’ve been writing for approximately 5 years now. I write not as frequently as a blogger or a typical writer does but I write articles for my work as a mechanical engineer in an engineering design firm as required. What can you expect but mostly technical engineering topics and subjects addressed to specific engineering professional. Most of it is already published and circulated in magazines online. After all those articles, I never asked myself “Can I really write?” despite the fact that my works are already published.

The Body Shop Haul
The Body Shop located in my hometown has been placed near the most historic monument full of cobbles, old buildings, statues and historic buildings on the high street. It's quite a small shop, though not so small that you can only fit 5 to 10 people like Lush in the Friary Street; when I first went in there and came out with something for myself, it had to be on my birthday which was back in January. Lucky me really. I came out with strawberry shower gel that was like 75ml I think, which lasted me 5 months before it ran out on me; I really like that scent of strawberries lingering on my skin, I also brought the villina and chili body butter. It's one of those things that I haven't really worked out if I like it or not; it was trial and error if you ask me, as I wasn't really into hand cream and whatnot at the time but now I have been using quite a lot on my skin as it's been so dry and sweaty and my skin had been horrible. That was because of the heat we've been having recently; now we've got the rain, so it's been a bit cooler than it has been.

Favorite Makeup Products by Ulta Beauty
I am a budget shopper, but also a lover of beauty products. I am always looking for ways to save money, but still, have high-quality products that I enjoy using and make me look great. As a long time fan of Ulta, I have tried many of their store brand products over the years. I find that many of their store brand items are great quality and have a lower price tag than higher end brands. Also, Ulta often has sales on their store brand items, which is a great time to stock up and save even more cash. Ulta often runs sales where you can buy two, get two free of their store brand items.
