Sun In Libra

While the sun is in Libra, the lovely goddess of love, and beauty. The season for Libra starts around September 19-October 21. The sun is the planet that rules the soul and libra rules the seventh house of partnership, diplomacy, marriage, harmony, balance, and committed sexual partnership, as well as art, dealing with the areas of: theater, painting, singing, dancing, film. The seventh house and Libra is the ruler of diplomacy and balance. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus or Aphrodite in her full natural goddess of love state. When Venus is in her own sign of Libra, she’s actually quite comfortable. Here Venus in this sign rules beauty, love, romance, sexual desire, as well as expressions of sexual desire. The common misconception about her and what a lot of people don’t realize about Venus in her natural state is actually how logical she really is even libras tend to follow their heart they’re always doing so with an even keel of balance and logic; and this is where the logic comes into play because Venus is the type of goddess who can have multiple lovers but also knows she cannot be divided between her roles as a goddess of love and romance, her role as a wife, and lastly her role as a lover.

She is actually very fair as well when it comes to her judgment. This is when she is the most clear. You know, I think it’s funny that most people think libras are even, though they are ruled by Venus they’re going to be all about love—and they are sometimes. There are other times it can be to their detriment, because a common problem that libras have is always trying to make everybody happy, but they don’t end up making themselves happy. This is where they actually compromise to a certain extent can be to their detriment. They can compromise for everybody else but themselves, and this is where they have a difficult time being who they truly are meant to be, let alone do what they want to do because they’re constantly having to fit in all of these roles just like their ruler does. It’s not easy being a goddess of love when you have high expectations put upon you of who you are supposed to be versus who you want to be. Those are high expectations to fill.

Libra rules the element of air, so this is why libra is a cardinal sign because they bring in a season and they usher in that season of fall going into the winter. Libra builds on the sign of Gemini and brings balance through communication . They do this between people, situations, technology, and the content of messages, time as well. This is where libra branches off to expand on Gemini’s principles of communication but because they bring literally an air of logic to every situation and every person. Everything that they look at, they do it with the lens of logic but also with love in their hearts that is set to the side. Libra’s dance a fine line between duty, honor, and love. In some instances when a Libra is allowing love to over run their logic to rule them they end up allowing emotions to roll them over.

This can unbalanced them, because that’s not their element. In other times libras can be a bit cool and unfeeling, devoid of any emotion, and they allow their logic to overtake them. It is important to remember because they rule ai,r and air is partially made up; with water the rest is hydrogen which is gas. So you can’t really blame them for wanting to not be tied down or swinging from one decision to the next. That’s just how the way the winds are, they come and they go and that’s why libra is able to center down in logic with the air element. They love challenges ever more so while they are at work. Their mind never shuts off not even when it is drunk, they are extremely intelligent (I have dated a few libras). They can be sweet and caring and then the next just like the wind gone in an instant. Their wind pulled back completely till you feel no breeze on you to go and process their material needs with their emotional gains. That is just how they are. Venus loves like that because to be in love is one thing but to forget that reality comes with responsibility something that they cannot do.

So they dance and do their balancing act the best way they know how. They give you love and compassion, share their wind with you when they can. So when they are gone they can control time and movement though time, with the technology they have around them so they can make something beautiful out of nothing.
