We've all seen it, the bustling fashion industry, with it's ever changing facets

I can speak for myself when I say that I envy their flawless skin and seemingly perfect day-to-day

But one thing struck my recently, it was a realization that I had never tried to actually achieve that level of flawlessness myself

So here it is, my list of "tips and tricks" on how to attain that airbrushed beauty that the fashion industry is so acquainted with

1. Hydration. We hear it everywhere, but less often is it that we've attained the level of hydration that we need to fuel our bodies and make that perfect, hole-in-one kind of say. The science behind it seems to say that less than half of the average is consuming as much as they should. So here it is tip number one, start aiming for the 3 liters a day

Quick tip, try to drink small sips throughout the day, 30ml at a time. Time it with a stop watch and see your results

2. Tip number two is high on South Korea's to-do list. Masking. I've had some personal success with this in terms of 'self-care', but this strategy takes a lot of masks and less concern for how much we put back into the world as trash, so as a twist to this recommendation, I would day try another of South Korea's secrets to flawless skin: layering. The best my skin has felt has been when I'm using a moisturizing toner and layering this for 8-10 applications in one sitting. My pores thanked me for sure. So it you find yourself with blackheads and over sized pores, try this for yourself

3. Number three might surprise you, but my most helpful and quick tip is to love yourself and do the above steps. Look for your own personal holy grail product and go with the flow of your daily routine

And remember, even models that we idolize have flaws that Photoshop does hide, so c'est la vie, enjoy life

Another side to skin care, that I’d like to touch on, is social. When you’re spending time with friends and family, time seems to flow by, like nothing could happen as a consequence.

When I’m feeling down I take to the internet as I’m sure some of you can contend with. It’s a constant scrolling and monotonous, like, follow, like, share.

When we’re connected to others, there's a marked difference in how we feel.

So why not take that to the web, we can start to interact with others like ourselves in the blog-sphere or forums that we love.

Why wait for your friend to get done with their own lives in the real world, make friends here in another space where there are less inhibitions. So I guess this is technically tip number 4, unofficially.

My last point, unofficially, tip number 5, is take some time and travel. This could look like that road trip you never took, or the first flight to Paris that you've been dreaming about. Whatever that looks like to you... Take the time to set aside some extra cash and see some sights, share some things with the people you share this life with and enjoy it.

You forgot all about your perfectly flawed skin regime, right?

IN conclusion, who cares how many steps you take in your skin care regime, it could be one or fifty. You'll get the results you want with some time and perseverance.

If you don't or can't use my tips to help with your regime, take to your favorite celebs routine, and splurge on their five-star moisturiser or that million dollar eye cream with the customized applicator. It'll get you there, stop and relax.

You know what, just take a deep breath. Do it. Right now! See, how much better do you feel? That's what it's all about. Now get out there and rock it!
