Pisces is the last of the twelve zodiac signs. There are no prominent stars in this constellation and most of it is covered by Aquarius. Pisces is sometimes depicted as a shark, but it is usually portrayed by two fishes swimming in opposite directions that are linked together by a string attached to their mouths. According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite (Venus) and her son Eros (Cupid) transformed into fish so they could escape the serpentine giant Typhon. Another myth, which sounds a little fishy, is that an egg fell into the Euphrates river and it was rolled ashore by a couple of fish, whereupon some doves sat on the egg until it was hatched. Since fish are involved it’s no surprise that the Pisces sign is of course water.

Pisceans believe they have lived other lives in the past, which could perhaps be why you have difficulty dealing with the real world. Since you believe you may have been reincarnated, perhaps in another life you were Michelangelo, master painter of the Sistine Chapel, Frederic Chopin, first music “superstar” or heaven forbid, Adolf Eichmann, Nazi head organizer of the Holocaust. You have the ability to delve deeply into the human psyche and in helping others almost in an addictive manner, you sometimes give away your own needed securities. You have a real problem saying no to anyone’s hard luck tale of woe. Unlike the genius of an Einstein (fellow Pisces) your irrational intelligence is based more on feelings. Your unintentional forgetfulness and mindlessness make it so that others sometimes think you are an airhead. But a Piscean is not stupid, it’s just that your connection to the real world isn’t as important to you.

A Piscean is often the cause of their own instability, their own worst enemy. Because of your intense feelings and emotions, you tend to lean more towards melancholy than happiness and subconsciously paint yourself into a corner of despair.

Being somewhat impractical, Pisceans often choose the wrong sort of friends, which can be highly traumatizing because you really want to help them out when their lives are in trouble. Unfortunately, although you have an open ear, a shoulder to lean on and want to learn as much as possible about someone so you can help them, you tend to be a bit of a gossip, which sometimes makes their problems even worse. You expect your friends to be as emotional, insightful and perceptive as you and to know that when you say you are fine, even though you aren’t, they should just know.

When it comes to romance, although you can be very charming and because you’re as elusive as a fish that won’t take the bait, you often frustrate a possible mate. Also, you often attract the wrong sort of people who take advantage of your deep feelings and compassion. This can get you into trouble because you sometimes mistakenly think that you mean more to someone than just a romp in the hay. For a lifetime of compatibility and marital bliss, it would be wise to let yourself be hooked by a Cancer, Scorpio or even a Capricorn. Let’s face it, Leo and Virgo are anything but keepers.

Because of a Piscean’s deep sensitivity, you are not very well suited to the unfeeling world of business. However, since you are unusually creative, blessed with a wonderful imagination and have some talent, you might consider being an artist or poet even though the monetary rewards and position entitled to your gifts are seldom met. If you have expensive tastes and a need to help people, you could become a therapist and earn more money. Because of your ability to see beyond the realities of the world, maybe you should buy yourself a tent, crystal ball, Tarot cards and set up shop as a fortune teller. Also, you’re a little lazy, so almost anything you can do to earn a buck while sitting on your ass, could be a good career. Perhaps being a mattress tester would be a good job—just imagine lying there dreaming with your head in the clouds and getting paid—what could be better.

Pisceans have a charismatic magnetic personality with an added dash of drama and to have you as a friend is to have someone special standing in their corner.
