Peppermint oil is probably one of the most versatile oils you can use in your home. It is used for a number of things, whether it be aromatically, topically, or internally. A lot of people use it to address body aches, allergy symptoms, and as a energy booster. It is also great for skin and hair health.

Peppermint oil has also been lab tested to be one of the most effective oils to use in your home for a number of different health problems. It works as a antioxidant, and has shown to have anti-tumor actions in lab studies. It has also shown to be a natural pain killer. It has been known to kill body aches and sore muscles.

Relieve pain with peppermint oil.

Peppermint essential oil is a great painkiller and muscle relaxant. It also has cooling and antispasmodic properties. Peppermint oil is especially helpful for relieving tension due to headaches.

Studies have shown that peppermint oil applied topically has pain relief benefits associated with Fibromyalgia pain syndrome. Researchers found that peppermint oil, menthol, eucalyptus, and other herbal preparations can also be helpful because they work as topical analgesics.

In order to use peppermint oil as a pain reliever, apply two to three drops topically to the area three times daily, you can also add five drops to a warm bath with Epsom salt for a more relaxing way to use it, and relieve pain. One of my favorite ways to use peppermint oil is to combine it with lavender oil, and lemon to help my your body relax, and reduce pain.

Increase your energy with peppermint oil.

Instead of putting harmful things into your body to give you energy, such as energy drinks, try taking a few sniffs of peppermint oil. It will boost your energy levels to help you get through during work, cleaning the house, going to school, or anytime you need a boost to get through your day. Peppermint oil has also been shown to possibly help with memory and alertness when inhaled.

When doing a study, researchers found that taking a small inhale of peppermint oil before a performance by athletes gave them a increase in airflow when exhaling from the lungs. It also showed to give the athletes an energy boost.

If you would like to try to boost your energy levels, and help your focus with peppermint oil, take one or two drops internally with a glass of water, or apply two to three drops topically to your temple and back of your neck.

Here are a few other top ways to use peppermint oil.
