  • 82 active cases (71.1% are officially concluded)

PEI Update:

  • 0 new deaths (0 total)
  • 0 new cases (63 total)
  • 0 new recoveries (60 total)
  • 3 active cases (95.2% are officially concluded)

Newfoundland Update:

  • 0 new hospitalizations (0 current)

Ontario Update:

  • 0 new deaths (3017 total, 86 max April 30)
  • 231 total hospitalizations (+1, 1043 max May 5)
  • 64 total ICU cases (+4, 264 max April 9)
  • 35 patients on ventilator (+1)
  • 721 new cases (61413 total, 939 max Oct 9)
  • 32206 tests done (48488 max Oct 8)
  • 783 new recoveries (52512total)
  • 5884 active cases (55.5% under age 40, 8.9% over 70, 90.4% officially concluded)

There are 0 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble as yet, with just NS reporting. I will update throughout the day as Provinces report. Ontario numbers are updated. This means there are 3 active cases in PEI, 4 in NS, 82 in NB and 8 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 401 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.

The state of emergency was declared on March 22 under the Emergency Management Act and was recently extended until October 18.

As of July 3, travel between Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador has been permitted without the requirement for self-isolation for permanent residents of Canada. Atlantic. All public health directives of each province must be followed. In accordance with the Nova Scotia Health Protection Act, any visitor from another province or territory of Canada must self-isolate for 14 days. Visitors from outside the Atlantic provinces who have been in isolation for 14 days in another Atlantic province can come to Nova Scotia without having to re-isolate.

  • - Spain reported 80 deaths yesterday for an increase of 0.24%.
  • - Austria reports 11 deaths for an increase of 1.28%.
  • - The rate of increase in Canada is 0.28% with 27 deaths (5 QC, 12 ON, 1 MB, 5 BC, 4 AB). This marks 81/89 days at/under 0.15%.
  • - The US rate of increase is 0.38%. 22/27 days are at/under a 0.45% increase, 8 of them at/under 0.2%.
  • - Sweden's increase is 0.14% meaning 48/52 days are at/under 0.05%, all but 1 under 0.1%.
