Reading for 9-9 through 9-15-19

The center card this week is the Queen of Swords.

I see the queens of the Tarot as the teachers and nurturers. They’ve gained deep understanding and compassion while on the path of their suit and are able to guide and sustain those who come behind. With the Swords as the archetype for our cognitive thought, our ability to categorize, define and explain, we look to this queen to help us find the most effective words to communicate our needs and ideas. Her propensity to detail what we want to say with grace and a wise acceptance of others’ ability to understand allows us to find the level which can best facilitate clear interaction. Not only do we want to get our point out, we want it to be understood by those involved. With that stance in mind we use the intuitive grace of the queen to bring things into context for whoever it is we want to be able to comprehend what we’re talking about. We abandon the idea that those around us “just don’t understand us” and find ways to interact with them at their own level. In this way we can communicate effectively as well as bring the capacity of those we’re trying to reach into the exchange allowing them an equal sense of recognition. I find that people are more likely to be open to things when we’ve taken the time to think about their communication skills and made the effort to align with them.

The west card is the two of Cups.

This is a card of true partnership. Its focus is about finding the parallels between ourselves and each individual we interact with. It brings our empathic nature to the surface putting us in a position to see things from others’ points of view. When we’re attuned to the folks we’re dealing with we, as partners in an exchange, are able to share on many levels at once. When we open those empathic thoroughfares we can connect fully, with a deeper understanding of the dynamics of a given situation. As we engage in this dance of two way communication and understanding we find ourselves broadening our own views to include possibilities we might not have recognized had we not opened to the partnership.

The east card is the six of Wands.

With the open, compassionate and understanding engagements we’re having this week our creative ability is ramped up. When I say creativity I don’t mean just art, poetry and music. I mean opening ourselves to ideas and experiences beyond our usual sphere. There will likely be a desire this week to do things differently, to step outside the lines and try new things. Maybe we’ve found new ideas and unrealized options or different ways of doing things as a result of our clearer and more all-inclusive communications. Bringing in the enhancement of cooperation with others allows us to explore farther afield finding new ways and means for our endeavors. We create fresh ways to advance, new tools and thought processes, new connections and a willingness to change things that have been working up until now to be a bit more dynamic in their approach and/or inception.

In conclusion;

This should be a week of communication and expansion. The desire to have our thoughts, ideas and intentions heard is so strong that we begin to look at the ways in which we interact with people. We look to find out who they are so that we may communicate in a way that will be received with the clarity we intend. We want our messages to be heard. In forging these new bonds of partnership, friendship, and camaraderie we find new options and more varied levels of understanding. This integration brings us into wider and deeper ways of experiencing ourselves and others.

Have an expressive week.

Light,

Tory
