This week all three cards are from the Minor Arcana which means that the major life lessons we’ve been dealing recently with have settled out a bit and this week we’re looking at how the decisions and changes we’ve made show up in our daily lives. A lot has changed and continues to change but this week will be a chance to lighten up, take a breath and look at what’s taken place up to this point and how we want to communicate that to those around us.

The Center card is the 2 of Cups.

The twos of the Tarot are about realization. The Aces are One. Singular and whole, they’re representations of Unity. As a result, they vibrate the energy of their suit in its purest form. In that form the energy is not able to regard itself. There is no reflection or feedback, they simply are. The twos, on the other hand, split apart and are then able to have the experience of their energy. With our watery, emotional connections this two shows us the truth and reality of the emotions we feel and gives us the ability to communicate that truth with heartfelt clarity and compassion. In this way we’re able to speak honestly without undercurrents of resentment. We’ve gotten to a point where the truth of the matter is more important than making a point or taking a stand.

The West card is the 6 of Pentacles.

Although feelings of security and normalcy have been scarce this year, this week should be a time of feeling comfortable with ourselves, our energy levels, if maybe not super high and ready to take on the world, are strong and steady. We notice a sense of confidence born of acceptance and understanding and can employ this sense of security to soften the edges of unnecessarily sharp words. Inner calm prevails and we feel safe enough to have the conversations we want to have without fear, anger, blame, recrimination or doubt steering us toward a preconceived outcome. We can disconnect the sensitivity buttons that might otherwise knock us off topic and forge ahead undaunted.

The East card is the Knight of Cups.

Here we find the emotional maturity to face, experience and honor the feelings we have without concern about what others will think or how they may react. Whether they rock our world or simply broaden the interactions we’ve chosen, we can face our feelings knowing we’re being honest with ourselves and forthcoming in our intentions. This knight eagerly embraces his emotions in any given situation and has the courage to express them. There is a great deal of strength in tears, connection in laughter and compassion in honesty. When we accept our emotions as honorable expressions of ourselves, the messages we intend to voice are felt at a deeper level.

In conclusion;

With intent, this week could be a watershed of communication, acceptance and understanding. We feel confident in our expressive, emotional selves and with that confidence we find we’re able to broach subjects that we might have shied away from in the past. Now, as we savor our sense of emotional strength and integrity, it’s a good time to put all our cards on the table. In the last few weeks we’ve been making choices and decisions about what we want to have in our lives and what we want to release. This global time of fractured realities presents us with a unique opportunity to change our trajectory and look to new futures. That’s not to say we have to get rid of old habits or ideas that still work and ring true but, in this time of upheaval we can drop the ones that have served their purpose and become a burden with an ease that might be missing in "normal" times. The tide of change is strong now and if we ride it with open hearts and honest intention we can bring a new, more sustaining and loving environment into our lives.

Have an emotionally luxuriant week.

Light, Tory

TIP for the week: Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. No heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dream. Paolo Coelho
