Some of you have wondered, "How did you do it?" after I spent the last year dropping 40 pounds and getting in shape.

You wanted to hear the specifics of my weight-loss strategy.

You were curious as to what I ate...

You were curious as to how and when I exercised...

So, since you've asked, here's what I've got.

Here are the step-by-step instructions for completing everything I did in 3 Easy Steps.

1. Consume Real Food

Weight loss is 80 percent food and 20 percent activity, according to specialists.

Is this, however, the case?

Let's look at some statistics...

To lose a pound of body fat, you must consume 3,500 calories less than you expend.

That aspect is straightforward math.

So, how much exercise is required to burn 3,500 calories?

To lose a pound a week, you'd have to run seven to ten miles a day, according to Holly Lofton, M.D., an assistant professor of medicine and director of the weight management program at New York University's Langone Medical Center.

I'm not sure about you, but I can't picture jogging 7 to 10 kilometers every day.

There's got to be a better way...

There is, in fact.

Eat more healthily!

Finding a means to eat better foods on a regular basis is crucial to your weight loss success.

Nobody should be surprised by this.

Unfortunately, because I enjoy junk food, this was the most difficult part for me.

Pizza is one of my favorite foods...

Ice cream... Chips...

It could be the most difficult portion for you as well.

However, in order to reduce weight, you must alter your relationship with food.

To begin eating healthy meals, you must quit eating unhealthy processed foods.

“A healthy eating plan provides your body with the nutrition it need on a daily basis while also allowing you to stick to your daily calorie goal for weight loss. A healthy eating plan can also help you avoid heart disease and other illnesses.”

You must adhere to a healthy dietary regimen.

A diet is not the same as a healthy eating plan.

Diets are ineffective.

You must adhere to a healthy dietary regimen.

Calorie counting isn't necessary for a healthy diet.

It does not necessitate a rigid meal plan.

It also doesn't necessitate any of the intricate nonsense that most diets necessitate.

Today, there are a variety of healthy eating programs to choose from.

The key is to choose the one that best suits your needs.

The Mediterranean Diet, for example, was recently voted as the best diet in the world.

It makes no difference whether you choose The Mediterranean Diet or something else.

The most important thing is to find something that works for you.

More of these should be consumed:

  • Vegetables
  • Fruits
  • Grain (whole)
  • Dairy products that are fat-free or low-fat
  • Meats that are low in fat
  • Poultry \sFish \sBeans
  • Eggs
  • Nuts

Reduce your intake of these:

  • Saturated and trans fats are two types of fats.
  • Sodium
  • Sugars that have been added

You can reduce weight and enhance your long-term health by following a healthy eating plan.

So, if you want to lose weight and improve your health, the first step is to eat actual food.

2. Get Your Body Moving

Your healthy eating plan will assist you in achieving 80% of your weight loss target.

However, if you want to lose the rest, you must get your body moving.

I'm not suggesting you run 7–10 miles every day or spend hours on the treadmill.

You should go for a walk outside.

If the weather prevents you from walking outside, head to the nearest mall and walk.

Every day, go for a walk.

Track your steps with your phone and aim for 10,000 each day.

It's fine if you can't get to 10,000 steps.

What matters is that you move more today than you did yesterday.

The majority of us are capable of walking.
