As a person who has struggled with weight gain and weight loss since a young age, it is easy to relate to many other women and men out there. At first, trying the usual dieting or basic exercise wasn’t helping. Then experiencing the miracle of life added to the weight gain. As the years passed the depression began to set in as most people experience. The ILoveKickboxing community came into my life about two years ago. It began to change everything.

ILoveKickboxing is like karate or jujitsu or any time of martial art. However, it is more hands-on with punching and kicking the bag. At first skeptical thoughts crept in like it would with anything new you are trying. Then when the instructors got into explaining the program the tension, fear and nervousness faded with each class. ILoveKickboxing helps you build muscle, strengthen your core, and helps you relieve stress. Many different reasons show as you begin to grow with the community. One of the best things about ILoveKickboxing is they become more of your family. You don’t have to go on this weight loss journey alone. They are with you every step of the way. The encouragement and the enthusiasm stand out in each studio. Provides great work and you meet some great people.

Weight gain has always been an issue. From doing regular walks, to working out at the gym and seeing no results to then finally settling in at ILoveKickboxing you see a difference in weight loss and weight gain. Depending on your progress, the food you consume, the water you drink, and how many times a week you work out you begin to see results quickly. ILoveKickboxing has been a motivation to continue on a healthy road. Recommended for at least a few trial classes before you fall in love with the workout.

The team of instructors is amazing. They become like your family and push you to reach and strive for your goals. You will meet amazing others who are just as excited as you are to start your fitness journey. When you feel like quitting just know joining this program will inspire you to continue. From experience I know that it can be a difficult journey and joining ILoveKickboxing has been a game-changer for me. You can’t knock it until you’ve given it a try.

I’ve tried going to the gym, however, it never stuck with me. Once I got to the gym all the motivation to work out just disappeared. I’d work out for five minutes or less but at ILoveKickboxing the workouts always had me coming back for me. Always looked forward to the next class and never knowing what to expect. It is worth the sixty-minute workout that you receive, and the music keeps you motivated during the rounds. You never have to worry about not having a variety because they have something for everyone to jam out to.

Even though COVID has come in and shut down everything, these amazing people were able to keep fitness goals going. They quickly switched to home workouts through Facebook and Zoom. With that being said, you will never have an excuse to miss a workout. COVID might have shut down in-person communication but they aren’t willing to stop you from reaching goals you’ve set in place. They are a wonderful group of instructors and love what they do. No matter what you will be able to continue on your fitness journey whether in person or at home through Facebook or Zoom. We all find an excuse to not work out, but this allows overlooking that excuse and pushing yourself.

We all need encouragement now and again to get motivated. We all face a time when we are feeling lazy or just have a bad week where we don’t make healthy choices on foods. Joining the ILoveKickboxing family you will be able to overcome those things standing in your way of living your healthiest life. We all strive to be perfect, strive to be healthy but we also let ourselves be the reason we don’t succeed.

Throughout my journey with ILoveKickboxing, I’ve learned that I need to be willing to accept the encouragement, guidance and stop letting my excuses hold me back. My advice to all looking for a good workout and to stop making excuses is to join this amazing family. ILoveKickboxing will be just the butt-kicking you need.
