Home Gyms are just better

To be really honest: How much do you like your gym? Not really that much?

To be really honest: How much do you like your gym? Not really that much? No wonder – over 30% of every Gym members never actually go to the gym. That’s not all just down to them being unfit or couch potatoes. Most of us just don’t really like gyms. They are crowded, noisy, the music is hardly to everyone’s taste and the showers... well let’s just not talk about the showers.

But no-one likes to be labelled an unfit couch potato – so we just pay our membership fees and tell ourselves, we’ll start working out in the gym next week. Or next week. Or next – and never actually go. Between work, family and everyday chores, there is just not really enough time to go to the gym.

Working out is actually really good fun

Sports aren’t just healthy and good for your figure – they are also a lot of fun and you really get a sense of achievement, if you stick to it. If a gym isn’t for you – you will be better of, if you get yourself a Home Gym. If you want to have the tools for a good, all-body workout at home, you won’t have to break the bank. A solid Home Gym Bundle is no more expensive, than an average year’s subscription to your gym. And if you don’t have to look over your shoulder, anxious to see, who’s watching and judging you right now, you’ll have a lot more fun, training at home, than at the gym.

There's more to it than that. The great thing about training at home is not only that you don't have to compare yourself with other people all the time, you are also a lot more flexible. Because you can always train at home. You don't have to calculate the way from work or home to the gym anymore, if you have children, you can set an example of a healthy and sporty lifestyle for them and you can - within certain limits - live your life to the full without having to pay attention to the other members in the gym.

You train at your own pace at home – but also without a Trainer

However, the training in a home gym has one negative aspect. Here you don't always have a trainer at hand to ask for advice. Therefore, you should either hire a personal trainer - or if that is not possible, at least have a rough idea of what you are doing.

If you have been a member of a gym for a few years, you will know roughly how to train properly. After all, there has certainly been a time when you went there regularly. At some point the motivation just got lost.

Now it is important to build on this knowledge. If you train at home with a modern and innovative training system, you can protect yourself from most injuries caused by overstraining or incorrect movement. Because the best exercises for home use are not done on fitness machines or heavy dumbbells. The training is done with different variations of deadweight exercises. With a rope trainer or a fitness rack you can do many exercises and complete a training program that will have you completely exhausted and happy afterwards.

The best exercises to do at home

For a challenging training routine, you won’t need a lot. A pull-up-rack (or better still a small fitness-rack), a sandbang-trainer and if you really want to crush it, a rope-trainer.

With these tools you can do an almost endless amount of variants of exercises, that utilise your own bodyweight - with minimal risk of injury. Push-Ups an pull-ups are the backbone of every good full-body exercise, but they get boring rather quickly. With a fitness-rack and a rope you can do endless variations and train every single muscle in your body.

Everything you now need is the determination to keep training – but that’s up to you. But will you leave your training tools collecting dust in the living room, while you are sitting on your couch watching them, having a bad conscience? Probably not.
