All three cards this week are from the minor Arcana plus each is from a different suit. What all that tells me is that this will be a week of focusing on the things we have full say in the outcome and control of and that are happening in our immediate sphere. Appropriate since that’s what most of us are dealing with at the moment.

The Center card is the 7 of Wands.

Right now we’re in a time of vast change that evolves daily. What the 7 of wands implies is our recognition that things, as we’ve grown accustomed to them, can no longer be sustained. From the glaring holes in our medical support systems and financial institutions to the little, daily avoidances and tolerances we perpetuate so as not to “rock the boat” with each other. Suddenly we find ourselves sequestered together, giving us the perfect breeding ground for honest conversations, practical solutions, renewed emotional connections (and boundaries) and working models for mutually agreeable changes to the framework in which we live. This card is from the suit of Wands so fiery, creative solutions are to be expected and likely accepted as long as we’re willing to let the old habit structures go. Let imagination fly and allow the outlandish, the I-never-thought-I-could and the I-always-wanted be part of the future. Once you get to the new shore, burn the leaky old boat and start fresh.

The West card is the 9 of Pentacles.

The more we can uncover and utilize the strengths, ideas and exceptional qualities of all involved, the more profitable is the enterprise. We’re being given an excellent opportunity right now to see how well we work together in unexpected circumstances. When we get to the stage where we can see and utilize the individual attributes of each piece (person) in the whole we can shift and reallocate challenges and solutions with great economy. We begin to work together as a well tuned instrument. As we experience the smooth flow of energy and the success it generates we discover a surplus which benefits us all. In this energy we revel in finding parallel and balancing efforts allowing us to complete what needs to be done efficiently and without stepping on anyone else's toes. Although this card is from the suit of Pentacles which generally refers to money and physical needs, the resources of nurturance, energy and time are also part of the picture and in this we look to the caring emotions of compassion and generosity. Certainly this is a time to implement new, compassionate interactions.

The East card is the 6 of Cups.

Having been put in the position of sheltering-in-place or self quarantine we’ve been able to see the need to redefine what family, work and social dynamics truly mean to us and reacquaint ourselves with the attributes of the people in our home lives. Whether those attributes are ones that we enjoy or the ones that annoy us, we're in the unique (though not always pleasant) position to sort them out into copacetic living arrangements. Even if that means we find that the physical aspect of those arrangements needs a drastic or final change. This card can represent ALL the feels, even from way back. From the times when you were hurt or disappointed as a child, the times that buoyed you up and showed you your potential and exceptional Self or the times the light bulb of understanding flashed over your head and your perception of life changed, all are still alive, still a part of the person you've become and having a profound effect on who you are in the moment.

In conclusion;

This looks to be a week of some pretty creatively satisfying work. We get the chance to truly see where we fit in the dynamics of our social structure and the chance to make needed or desired changes to that dynamic. This allows us to recognize the most effective ways we can work and live together. From this new perspective of cooperation we’re building with those close to us (literally) we can then turn our focus outward to the community around us and farther afield to the world and humanity at large. These are paradigm changing times, let go of what no longer serves and stride forward into the new reality we’ve begun to create.

Have a compassionate week.
